Very interesting, i think you could make a puzzle game using this mechanic, im pretty sure it's gonna be satisfying to watch. i love that the electron shoot by other atom also could shoot other atom.

i think my only complain is that there's no restart button and for some reason the game mechanic kinda broken after a while, my electron started to bounce around, even the other electron didn't register collision at all. but maybe it's not your fault and im playing on a potato powered toaster rn so prob not the most ideal  device to play a game. and maybe you could also do something to prevent spam shoot.

btw my highscore is 107

I tried to give new atoms invulnerability to non-player neutrons for a few seconds, and after a certain score (probably 75), the chain reaction stops completely. This was done to reduce the chances of a crash. I should have made extreme chain reactions a lose condition, rather than something that crashes the game.

(+1)

making extreme chain reaction as lose condition i think not a good solution since it's not something under player control. maybe just destroy an atom after being splitted few times or use RNG to determinate whether the atom gonna split or or destroyed.
