I appreciate the detailed feedback :) You're dead right with the escape control, I'll need to be more careful. I also encountered the menu overlap/duplication but it only seems to happen intermittently, and with the entire menu setup being a bit "11th hour" I just didn't have the time to track down what was causing the problem.
