I really enjoyed this game, it gave me a "The Yawhg" vibe, and the art and writing were fantastic! I'd love their to be a bit more complexity involved, maybe certain cards interact with other cards, so if one card "plays" before another card, it doubles the damage, or halves it. It would make the player have to work harder to decide their optimum route, and it would make the randomly playing cards impact the game more.

Hi! That was exactly the plan, like having a "hull breach" card do hull damage every turn until fixed with a "hull repairs" card and stuff like that (or having a Kraken be countered only by a Harpoon). Unfortunately the jam meant we didn't have time to implement any of the more advanced functions, so it ended up just being the simple stats up/down. However in our Upcoming Post-Jam Version we'll definitely include some more complex interactions! And thanks!
