I don't have a credit card and I need help updating on my file explorer and it wont let me update it

i cant figure out how to update it either! And Im really annoyed because it wont let me play!!!!

Same. I can't update. I didn't use Steam and now it looks like the only way to "update" is to buy it again.

Hello everyone! If you have purchased the game on itch.io, then you can maybe go to here: itch.io/my-purchases and scroll/find where Among Us and re-download it to hopefully get the up to date version. (I only have it on mobile, not on computer)

If you’re getting an official version, should be on Google Play/Steam. Install directly.

But if you want to install from files, make sure your “install from unknown sources” setting is enabled. You may need the install apps permission on your file manager, or allow installing from unknown in general settings.

You can try uninstalling old and install new if it won’t overwrite an installed one.

I’ve not had issues updating it, so presumably yes, I have the right method.

The method I described here is for Android.
