Has a very solid base. With a couple things cleaned up (coyote time, controls, audio) this would be a pretty polished game.

The music was cute, though it was mostly coming in through the left earpiece.

My recommended keyboard setup would be

  • Move:  choice of A/D  |  left/right arrows
  • Jump:   Spacebar        (or K/Z  if space is to switch)
  • Shoot:    J   or   X
  • Switch:      K/Z             (or Spacebar  if K/Z is to Jump)

For controller

  • Move: d-pad
  • Jump: a, cross, left trigger
  • Shoot: x, square, right trigger
  • Switch: b, circle

I appreciate your comment! I definitely let scope creep get to me on this one. Audio is definitely my worst. I didn't realize until too late that Godot's audio is location based so it was always out the left ear. Haha. I am not big on platformers (as a player) so not used to coyote time or controls (despite knowing about both). Will definitely work on this stuff more in the future. For the music, I hoped to write my own but then realized my years of being in band class as a kid did not translate to music composition. Haha.
