I think you're too hard on yourself. The act of memorizing, finding, and solving puzzles with different codes and techniques is appealing and original. It kind of reminds me of The Witness in that it's also semi-open world and you have to find the techniques yourself, only the actions you can preform being limited to inputting codes is better suited for the Nokia, which makes it much better for the jam.
The big elephant in the room is movement. Actually moving is alright, the big problem is precise movement and pushing boxes, especially in small corridors.
However, the originality and polish kept my interest, so keep it up man!
