Could you explain a bit more? Are you sure you had a game saved to that load slot?
I'm aware that attempting to load a save will prompt an error if you don't have anything saved there.
If I where to save at a point and then progress then try to load the save to go back on a decision I get this long error message that reads(copy and pasted):
"
Sorry to interrupt, but this page's code has got itself in a mess.
SecurityError: Failed to read the 'localStorage' property from 'Window': Access is denied for this document.

I have no Idea what this means sorry
Well, I'm very sorry to say that I also have no idea what that means, haha. I'm very much not a programmer and only have a tenuous grasp of Twine, honestly. HTML stuff is beyond me.
My best guess is that there's an issue with your browser (I've only tested on Chrome and Firefox), or that you're using incognito mode/private browsing (understandable for a game like this!).
I tried loading a save using Chrome Incognito, and got the same error you did. Weirdly, Firefox private browsing seemed to work fine.
If you're using Chrome/Firefox, not using incognito, and still getting this error, then I'm afraid idk what to tell you. I'm out of my depth. Hope you can make it work, though!
From what I have read there are two possibilities in my understanding. First, (less likely) you have cookies turned off which makes local data storage difficult. Second, (more likely) you browser is too clogged and you need to clear your cookies and history. This will reset some things and most importantly it will clear up any blockage, you should be able to easily find this in the settings menu for the appropriate browser or look up a how to. Otherwise you need an exper.
