Is it missing the assets? I downloaded it but it won't run because it doesn't have the VXAce RTP graphics

All of the RTP like tiles and images used is included in-game. I copied and pasted all of the used RTP into the game's main folders. Was worried the finished product lacks the /Graphics folder, but tested it on other computers and it ran fine. It seems the /Graphics folder could be a part of the encrypted game file thus it not showing. If other computers can load the custom title screen image, then it looks like the /Graphics folder is actually still intact. But maybe there is more to it that I don't know.  Sorry. Here is the download link to RTP and thank you for pointing it out: https://dl.degica.com/rpgmakerweb/run-time-packages/RPGVXAce_RTP.zip Let me know if it works fine this time.

Yeah it's weird. I even re-downloaded it but it had no graphics folder. It worked tho once I installed the RTP. And... I'm glad I finally got it to work. Definitely goes to show what you can make with RTP graphics (and a few screenshots of webpages) in a limited time and have it be entertaining.

[edit: my favorite part tho is the first time the game opens the menu. I checked the items, took the item twice and got a Game Over without even saving. lol]

Thank you so much for playing the game! Made me so happy you gave it a try! Yeah, I've seen other VX Ace games have a Graphics folder, so I was worried about mine not having one. So I'm grateful you confirmed it with me. Very grateful you brought it up because I really did not know that I still needed to provide the RTP even though all the RTP graphics (including tiles) are already copied over to the main game files. This is what I don't understand, but now I know I can do further checking and figure out why.

I am surprised about how the game turned out within the limited time. Everything was me rushing due to the lack of time, and still don't know what to make. So everything is improvised and intuitive. It's amazing within 8 minutes I can pull off something very enjoyable. The battle is also everything what I wanted it to be, including the Level 98 thing, and it was done by accident. I'm really proud of this project and enjoyed the process.  I did major game testing for this game multiple times after I submitted it, and discovered that almost everything is exactly (or even better than) of what I wanted it to be. The only thing I am unhappy with is that I didn't make it possible to go back to the room where there are enemy encounters, from the map right after it. Other than that, everything is perfect!... and all done by accident. :)

It goes to show that even with a major time limit and completely not knowing what to make, a good game can be possible. Very grateful for all the positive reviews and the experience, and thanks for being a part of it! :)
