A nice game that looks quite good too. Do have a few notes:

  • There was no audio for me.
  • The introduction text sticks around for a bit too long and you can't click to skip it. After a few seconds thought that the game had crashed or froze. Might be worth adding an option to skip through it or to have the continue button appear sooner.
  • The platforming seemed fun, but the jumping was a bit too unresponsive for me. Sometimes I was able to jump after landing and other times would have to wait a second before I could jump again. And found that couldn't just run and jump. Had to jump and then move forward to navigate the puzzle which is a shame. If the controls can be made more responsive this looks like it be a fun game to try and speed run.

Great work!

1. I didn't have enough time for audio. I might add some later.

2. I thought about having the intro text appear 1 letter at a time, but I didn't want to spend too much time with that.

3. My lack of good hardware made the Unity editor more laggy, which impacted the play testing. Even after play testing on a standalone build, I didn't pay much attention to unresponsive jumps because I thought it was my keyboard, not the game.

I had to cut corners because this is my first 3D game, but overall I'm glad you liked the graphics. I might add better tutorials (that require you to actually use a skill,) a speedrun timer, and configurable settings(to help with performance on less powerful hardware, and to allow for better graphics on more powerful hardware.)

Just a few pointers that hopefully will help with the next project or the current one.

As for the hardware. Been there so no complaints for me. I was actually trying to speed run the whole thing since the controls reminded me a bit of old school fps. The jumping kept landing me back to the start. But I do like the game, I think it's pretty fun.
