This game has a nice idea, but the execution is a bit rough. There are two main issues that prevented me from really enjoying it:

First - the switch between characters can be very jarring, especially if you are moving when it happens. The character you switched from loses all momentum, even in the air, and the character you switch too moves before you can even react. I would recommend needing a new movement input after switching, and maybe not switching while you are in the air to help with this.

Second - the hitboxes for some of the hazards feel a bit unforgiving. This is especially painful since the movement feels very slippery and you can't vary your jump height. This compounds with the first issues when characters stop midair during a switch and fall to their death, or slowly slide off of obstacles while you can only helplessly watch.

Sorry if this is too harsh, but I feel like this idea had a lot of potential, and I feel like I would have quite enjoyed it without the above issues.

You weren't too harsh! These are some great comments! There is definitely an issue with the characters sliding. The characters are sliding because I couldn't figure out how to stop the sliding . I introduced 0 friction for the character  to fix another bug, although it introduced problems you mentioned. So that's why they are sliding. And once the character is in the air and the switch happens, if I don't fully stop the character they just keep sliding on the ground.. A silly bug that limited us a little... Hitboxes on the spikes are definitely too large. I will definitely address your mentioned issues next time .

Thanks for the comment and also thank you for playing :)
