It looks like you manually clicked through and added thousands of games to your library from your bundle purchase pages. This was part of the reason why we do not have bundles populate your library by default. Although we’ll likely make some changes in the future about how libraries are manages, we don’t have a solution for your use case right now. If it’s really making your account unusable we might be able to clear out all undownloaded entries from your library so you can go back and claim only what you want to access.

I really hope we see some tag / genre search abilities for the library soon. I appreciate collections, but I'd like the ability to automatically sort through what I own depending on what I feel like looking for. Collections are too unwieldy for library restructuring. The data for categorizing content is already there, so being able to utilize the various "browse" page sorting filters (genre, accessibility features, tag, etc) within our own library would make using the website much better. With such a large bundle, it's not fun to have to go to an external website or spreadsheet to actually look through the content within it in an intuitive manner. And this doesn't just apply to people who bought the bundles. If someone has been using Itch.io for years and has accrued a significant library, it'd be nice to have the tools to manage the library quickly and easily.

While I understand the reason for not having bundles automatically populate into our libraries, this is really not a long term solution since bundles are even more difficult to find stuff in than our library in general. Whether using the desktop app or the website, it is nearly impossible to find anything from a bundle that you haven't claimed already unless you are searching by name, which doesn't help in the slightest if what you want to find is "all my games tagged scifi" or something along those lines. There isn't even any way to do any sort of a mass search of ALL games from ALL bundles you own but have not claimed.

Two years and itch still can't do what many online stores could do off the bat. 😩

While itch doesn't seem able to improve their website, I did find a third party website that *drastically* improves filtering and searching through various bundles. I highly recommend checking it out for all your bundle search needs: https://randombundlegame.com

Agreed, bundles are nightmarish to navigate. at least now games you bought there say you have it when you look on the store page for the game, but you need to basically know the name. which feels ridiculous. Even just giving an official way to export a spreadsheet of a library would be something. People who haven't bought the bundles but have bought hundreds of games over their years on itchio have complained about similar, I'm sure

Yeah, I have a ton of stuff in my library, and while a lot of it is from bundles (because I actually downloaded and tried the games instead of just ignoring them), a lot of it isn't.  Even if you removed all of the bundles from my library, I would still have too many items to manually search.

My "solution" is to download all the games I own locally and put them in different subdirectories.  Obviously not an ideal solution - I'm going to miss out on all updates, and systematically downloading and labeling everything takes time - but at least I don't have games disappearing into the black void of my library where I am never going to find them again.
