I spent way too much time tracking down problems with the original rigging and some strange behaviour when trying to tilt the bird when turning.

I was hoping to include more of these for better spacial awareness, interaction and fun:

  • Adding terrain
  • Adding clouds
  • Tilting the bird when you turn
  • Adding an indicator to the screen to show which way to turn for a gate that isn't on the radar
  • Having different levels of music when you're going through different gates
  • Really tidying up the animation so the swoop happens in sync with the button press and the increase in altitude happens on the down beat
  • Other birds/enemies/hazards to interact with

Still, you can't do it all in a jam :-D

That's a lot of things for a jam indeed x)
But I see where you wanted to go and I agree with that direction. I would encourage you to try to implement all those things.
