This is wild! Such an amazing homage to old arcade shooters. The visuals and presentation are on-point! My only nitpick would be that the mummies feel like they take too many shots to kill. I couldn't get too far in the game, but it definitely is one of the best games I've played in the jam so far. Kudos!

Concerning difficulty, I suggest you retry by adjusting the number of continues in the options menu.
I also added auto-fire and auto-reload options in the controls settings, for accessibility purposes.
