This is such a great game!
It's super fun to see different animals interact with each other. You did a great job at making the world feel alive.
I feel kind of bad for separating a family of Dison and putting water animals into dry containments, but I guess it was my choice.
In it's current state the game only gets easier as you progress, but I guess that the second area may have required some higher stats.
It amazes me how much you managed to do in this little time!

thanks! The basic structure is my own roguelike framework from past years but with all new mechanics added (for instance the walls between tiles and multi tile entities). Im glad the game world felt alive, that was my main goal for this one.
I was actually going to put in a message that all animals will be returned to the planet after they are scanned at the station exactly for that reason, but since it was just a fluff message it was pretty low priority and ultimately didnt have time. The Idea for the 2nd area was that exploring during that day would slow damage you from the intense heat, until you could find the right animals gain a heat resistance gene. Maybe one day.
