reading through this gave me some ideas and also, I wanted to say some things that I think could be possible, starting with Bareshade stuff. Spoilers? maybe I'm just throwing theories out here.

I think it is actually fully possible to be that it's the alpha because he isn't cured, that means he can't become human and also since he has been a werewolf for so long, he is most likely going to be like Caleb just not yet cured and prolly insane or feral, I'm saying this as we have seen Bernard and Caleb as werewolves during the day. Bernard at his hut date and Caleb as... well Caleb.

then the rat's storyline, I don't think that the path is to Tao's home. I remember him saying something about him arriving here via boat I think and that the rat place was an island he found and wanted to explore out of curiosity, but I do think the path is going to be something involving Tao's storyline and quite possibly involving those ruins and the mysterious symbols we find around and in the rat king's box.

then Werewolves, I thought it was prolly Hishh or someone in the swamp, it being Ruben feels strange. like I absolutely think he would, due to how he Seem's so far, but I don't know about him traveling THAT far without us saying something that gave him an idea. also, where would he learn about Werewolves other than us? unless it's common knowledge to everyone in Aigran that they exist excluding Bareshade I don't think he would have previous knowledge about them, nor would anyone at all. Then talking about the Alpha, I agree we will prolly cure him, but I don't know how because we would need something close to his previous self to bring it back, and no one knows who he is. then the permanent cure for Logan depending on choices, I don't think it's that close at all. This storyline feels like it wouldn't be a good time to introduce the true cure due to several factors, like where would we get it? why does the swamp hold the true cure and why doesn't the witch know the true cure? and if she does, why did she give us this version? does she need Logan and Bernard like this for some reason and so she gave us that cure for her own later benefit? also I think that the tree in the misty abyss has something more to do with this because of its previous actions that make me believe it's alive and has a will of its own.

next on Lizards, pretty much everything you said makes absolute sense. like yeah, the good ending will most likely be curing the corrupted lake and saving the last of corrupted and defeating Hishh. but how is the question, would we have to team up with Othra and Xer to create an artificial cleansing water? or would Othra or someone else learn some purifying magic and Xer/MC would either team up or MC alone would need to protect them while they cure the lake? then what happens to Hishh? what happens to all those who chose to stay corrupted? do they become Exiled, and official banished or do they get like executed or something? also choosing Xer's path is going to be tough, like both would help him in adventuring but would weaken the skills together because he could always focus on one rather than the other and become better than ever. such as if he became an alchemist, he could gain incredibly knowledge and help the player by hypothesizing with them and making new powerful potions or helping them in situations requiring smarts rather than brawn or being a slut, but in the other end Xer could become incredibly strong and maybe even surpass Rhot and Grushk if the MC works with him and trains him in their ways and eventually, he could become more confident and stronger then maybe even more dominant with his personality due to his strength increasing and him getting an ego. MC could prolly keep it in check by beating his ass but if he ever won it would prolly be a MASSIVE ego boost for him. also, yes. dates with Rhot/Grushk sound like the best thing ever. I wanna cuddle with them and show them love until I die.

onto Ste and Northcrest, yeah Ste's storyline has quite a few ways it could go, like maybe that weird rat thing isn't involving with the nameless like me and nonsense though but actually related to something in Ste/his wife's family? or as you said taking us to his home to see it.

then Viccoria yeah, I know nothing on her so I'm just going to skip this bit as I don't know anything other than she hates Feliar lmao.

then Feliar, his name quite literally has liar in it. yes, he has to be hiding something, however whenever we find it out, I'm not gonna lie I'm sticking with him cause I'm HEAVILY biased towards him. whatever it is he is not leaving me lmao.

and the shapeshifter, I think it's Jester. like he seems WAY too carefree, and people seem to be after him while he has someone to protect him, which actually would be a good idea to take that shape because Scar will protect his brother and he doesn't need to worry about being found out. or it could be the father of Scar and Jester, or it could even be Scar himself and that's why he trusts no one. who knows!

the Crystal guys I literally loved them right away when they first came out so like I'm waiting on them to be updated lol. which I also have no theories for them sadly too.

then Orc's. yeah, we are most likely going to need to find Korg's clan and convince them to join us, be it legit or by... other means. then after we beat the ever-loving FUCK out of the SkullBreaker horde we find out everything and see if it is our teacher and save him if he needs saving or exile him if he was just evil the whole time and at least finally get an answer to where the fuck he went. but I also like the idea of us beating there ass' so hard the Warchief respects us, which made me kinda wanna see him become interested in MC if he fights with honor and win's because that would be kinda funny seeing MC either be flattered and say fuck off, give in and be interested or just gain a kinda weird stalker. however, I don't think they would help clear the caves, they aren't a clearing people, they fight, and I think we could just solve the issues and Northcrest could clear the caves up, which would prolly make Dulrig like you a lot more.

now onto Mythshore, as someone who has done that storyline up until its latest update, no. I don't believe that the shapeshifter's were the ones who fucked up Mythshore. if anyone did it I'm going with it being the actual family or Ruben because he seems like the type to do that. plus the place said it was a group who claimed to be able to help them, which I think if Ruben showed up they might believe him due to his reputation and he might not think he could face any repercussions due to the entire town dying according to what he already knew. I do believe the idea of the Bentley family having some extra secrets and thus being extra secretive and that they had the most power. the reason I think that is because I think they knew about the other houses darkest deed's and they could snitch and get rid of anyone if they wanted, so the other families came up with finding the shapeshifter's or the shapeshifter's themselves found that out and decided to take over the family to gain the most power the fastest and failed as they mostly disappeared and now need to find them so they can get rid of them or use them to find the secret's and gain the power the family once had.

the Paulo and John thing would make a good amount of sense, they played games already and now they just do it in a new home, so like they might become fairly popular fast due to it as well, which could be the reason other villagers join in?

then siding with the hunter, I'm not gonna lie i think Bernard and Caleb might get upset but Logan might also try and join because of how much he hates them and end up switching to Werewolves if your too hard on them and make him feel like a bad person for being one. then idk maybe the hunter could be like a bad or a good guy.

now, rat's again. yeah this could be a good idea, maybe you could "offer" to take Tao's place and be his slave and just wait until he's asleep and try to sneak off on your own after a bit and they could find you and be happy to see you as one path, the other could be sneak them both out during the chase event with similar mechanic's to the Lizard hunting event but not limited in steps because of RNG, that would make it insanely hard if you think about it, maybe instead you could have limited encounters before the rat's notice something and alert the king, which could lead to a boss fight against him or you "distract" him and they escape and he decides to like chain you up if you lose to replace his newly lost prizes and it could end up as a bad end? and if you win you could leave but lose rep with him, or if you win sexually he could ask you to come by again and instead of losing rep he remains neutral but he could become more active during sex because he is becoming more pent up without Tao and eventually if you do enough things he could just like kidnap you permanently if your too subservient and then you would either get a bad end or just lose some sanity and eventually be let out because you refuse to do things, the bad end could be left from not having enough sanity to resist and just doing as he asks and becoming his slave or something. however, after the successful instead of failure as i described you could invite Scrap and Tao to live in your house with Korg or you could invite one and let the other live in Bareshade or invite neither and let them live together in Bareshade, maybe they could offer you something as a reward for what you did for them? and depending on your relationship with the rat's they might even do something lewd because they believe you would like it? like Tao might undress and offer himself or Scrap might take the lead and screw you because of how you let him have fun? maybe Tao could learn some more confidence from Topping or Scrap could enjoy being a Bottom from learning submission from Tao?

then on the topic of the Crystal homies... yeah, a cave under our house to reach these other areas sounds AMAZING to be honest but would be weird to explain to Korg why it leads to Viccoria..... also what if she came to visit and Korg freaked out? or she tried to kidnap him again? conveniences always come at a price ;-;

and I think that a response to everything you said, at least everything I could answer, I understood what you meant and could see plenty of logic in what you said since you wrote it incredibly well! if I misunderstood something though, please tell me so I can fix it and see what happens to theories after that.

Hello! Thank you for giving your opinions and theories! I really loved to read everything about what you think.

I'll answer every paragraph and topic, so... Spoilers?

If the first paragraph is talking about the rose and hunter topic talking about a white beast, then I am not really sure if it's the Alpha. The beast was seen during the day and werewolves are night creatures, the only way I could think that would be the Alpha is that he also became a Swamp Werewolf which is possible since they were discussing about the beast being similar to a bear or a dog.

Wow, I didn't really remember him saying about getting there by boat. So I guess it could be possible that is about those ruins. Really smart. If you find it where he says that can you tell me, please?

I don't think it could be Hishh who messed with the werewolves, Othra said the lizard tribe never left the swamps and even if Hishh left the swamp to explore how did he found out about the wolves den?

I still think it could be Ruben, he said he used to explore when he was young so he could easily find out about wolves den because he was probably the curious type like us. There could be the possibility that our teacher told him about the wolves den, since our teacher also tried to find a cure to lycantropy.

I don't know how, but since the Alpha has been mention a lot recently I think we are going to know more about him, there is a "?" in the deeper parts of the wolves den and I don't know if it's only for us to know were the Alpha is or if there will be a pile of people belongings.

About the permanent cure. While we are having a afternoon with Logan, we can promise that "if a proper cure exist we will find it". Probably we will never find that cure and if we do it's probably going to be a lot later. While also, if we find a way to save the Swamp werewolves and bring the human conscience back to Alpha I think MC would be inspired to try to creat a permanent cure, something that not even the Witch could do.

Hayden said that his hair became green while exploring the swamps and encounter a big swamp creature. I think it's probably that tree, and I believe it more because that tree protected the swamp werewolf.

About the cleansing the corrupted lake, I think a lot of interesting could happen here. I think both Othra and Xer would help us here, while Xer prepare a artificial cleansing water he says that he hopes that that could be enough, and after studying the green gem in our home we talk about Othra about teatching us a cleansing ritual with the gem and we could clean the lake.

Also we talk with the warriors about the best plan to invade and attack the corrupted lizard (probably having a few options depending how much Intelect you have)

What I think it could happen would be: The day of the attack we feel something is wrong and then appers the changing characters screen, changing to Rousk who is fighting Hishh. After a few rounds where neither of them falls MC appers to help, and after some talk Rousk says he wants to help us and we can choose to accept or not.

What I think something else could happen (I like this one better): The day of the attack we feel something is wrong and after reaching the temple there is a battle going on. We start fighting Hishh a impossible fight where we get really hurt but Rousk appers to save us, changing characters and as we are controling Rousk MC helps here and there like in Logan fight with Alpha.

About Hishh and the others who wants to stay corrupted, what I think it could happen would be Xer appering after we won the fight and he has a card in his sleeve, where he was making some experiments with the cleansing water so it could have a cleansing mist or smoke. Making every corrupted lizard stop fighting. I know this is close to impossible to happen but I like this thought.

About Xer's choices, I would go about being a adverture (which is both warrior and alquemist, using us as an exemple since we are a herbalist and a good fighter). That way he could help the tribe and not giving up in his alquemist side.

Rhot/Grousk date would be: Having fun with Rhot (not lewd) but suddenly getting deep talk about his feelings. Grousk date would be taking a walk and after some enjoying each other companys there would be a lot of cuddles.

I would love to know more about how his wife was and what kind of live he had before meeting her. That would be really interesting.

She hates him because he didn't want to have sex with her lmao.

Right?! To make me shake my feelings towards Feliar his secret would have to be really creepy.

Now that you mentioned, it could be Jester. Scar did say that he is like that because everyone was really protective of him or something. But I don't know, there must be something else with him. He could be like Caleb, trying to see the best even in the worst condition, bit he could really be a shapeshifter and because Scar love his little brother he didn't notice.

Scar says that his father was acting really weird to the point where he says that that isn't his father. I think that Scar in his face was made by his father.

But what makes me think is that Nameless said we already met a shapeshifter, and we didn't even met the brother's father yet.

All we know about the Emerine Golens is that Father is their purpose, and without the Father they won't have any purpose.

I am gonna love beating the fucking Skullbreaker Horde warchief ass and probably gain his respect lmao. Probably having won against him in a fair fight while he uses dirty tricks he would probably starts more or less asking us to fight him again or to train him. Probably having a choice to say "fuck you" or say "thanks...?".

About our teacher, I have no ideia about how the conversation will go and I am really interested about how MC will be affected by it.

I think the orcs ans northcrest would help each other about clening the caves paths where dulrig along with miners re builds the path and the some orcs helps lifting some heavy rocks, which they don't complain since could be a good work out ideia.

I think the Ruben being the one to mess up Mythshore is really probable, since while studying the samples from Paulo MC says that the person who did this really knew what they were doing. I just don't know his motives tho. And who was the group? Because we can suspect Ruben, but other people were involved.

I think you could be partially right about your Bentley's theory. But any theory I came up with about northcrest seens too crazy or too improbable to happen or be true. But I think we both are getting somewhere tho!

That's what I thought. People would be really insterested in Paulo and John since both are from Mythsore, and I think they would like the little village and after some time feeling confortable enough to envite them to play.

About the hunter. What I meant is, since John is still weak after sleeping for too long, he would ask for our help to get a new job in Bareshade, like a little event.

There would be bad choices like work for Blake or Logan since both carry heavy things. Neutral choices like help at Bernard shop or even helping the hunter, but we don't know a lot about the hunter so I don't know I think it would be a great opportunity to really met them. There also could be good choices, like helping Paulo or helping the tavern, Paulo would be a obvious choice since they know each other and I suppose there are light things to carry and help, and I think John would like to work in a place full of people again and of couse happy people.

I don't think Tao would start living with us or in Bareshade because he says he wants to go back home eventually and while introducing him to Scrap, Tao says that after we take him to visit Bareshade he probably will take us to visit his home in return.

About the chase mechanics, I don't think having limited encounters would help, the rats are very loyal and the first rat you encounter would most likely snitch you.

I was thinking about a chase and hide mechanic, where you could encounter a rat and fight him but having to hide, don't know if that would work tho. Something else I thought to fix the chase mechanic would be putting distractions or using smoke bombs or even sleeping mist to get around the rats without getting noticed.

I think there would be a boss fight with the rat king, while we were losing time distracting the rats and getting around them he would wake up, get up and block the passage where we fight him.

Your bad ending with the rat king it's really good, I can even imagine happening. Also the ideia about how you win him affects your relations with him.

Scrap would propably want to live with us first and after some courage start living by his own in the village and starts working with Rose which is ironic because she looks disgust with rats but somehow liking Scrap.

I think you could get some lewd options after helpind them (probably gaining a heart with both of them after helping them). And these option about Tao being bottom but trying to be top and also Scrap being top but also try being bottom seems really interesting ideia.

We could explaim to him that every cave it's connected to each other and then he says he isn't really confortable with a cave in the house, so you choose to put a door in the cave and out the dog or the wolf to protect the door. And while the thought of Victoria visiting us, I don't think that event would happen until after he is back to his tribe, she knock on the door and when you look to see who it is you see her.

same! reading other people's theories is awesome especially when its large ones like yours lol, now on to responding again! possible spoilers warning lol!

I hadn't thought about the alpha becoming a swamp wolf and now I'm curious if he has, I had an idea a while back where Serena might be the swamp final boss as like maybe a goddess of fertility because the swamp creatures took her and corrupted her further, also Werewolves being seen during the day is extra strange so you could be right about this being proof he is a Swamp wolf now, which maybe he was around Bareshade to try and get Bernard, Logan and Caleb to try and force them to become one of the swamp creature wolves!

also, ye I can look for where i heard it and tell you if I do :)

then Ruben, I think it has merit for an idea absolutely, it also makes sense due to his personality so it being him makes a good amount of sense, originally i thought it wouldn't be that likely but now that you reminded me of the teacher speaking with him you actually kinda convinced me it's him because the teacher might have accidentally sparked a lot by telling Ruben. plus, the idea of it being Hishh was based off the idea that the corruption was maybe infecting the big tree and it caused it to become sentient and it was feeding him information and it told him about the werewolves, but now Ruben works.

and the permanent werewolf thing would also make sense if we can succeed in doing so, originally, I thought it might be something in own entire thing that takes an adventure to like a hidden werewolf kingdom or something to cure, but now this idea also works and fits without needing a new area! plus I believe the ? is possibly Serena herself and we just can't do anything yet because it's not added in yet.

now Xer creating an artificial cleanser or Othra teaching us a cleansing ritual could be true, but i think it was either need to happen during the siege on the temple or directly after with Othra and Roushk watching to help if anything goes wrong, and maybe something will where you become super corrupted and need to let it out and depending on who loves/likes you more Othra or Roushk would intervene and either do lewd things or help keep you calm to purify yourself and save the lake, but back on the siege itself, an attack at the temple where we almost lose and switch to Roushk seems fun because it could also be a way to increase love maybe with him, along with other warriors who see you nearly lose could come help and also be allies, like Xer could throw potions, Rhot could swoop in and attack with his tail or spear, and Grushk could tank or deal bigger damage with lesser chance while you play as the leader and heal everyone. but if WE siege them maybe you could choose to bring 3 people total and depending on relationships with you could determine how they fight with you, like one or 2 hearts could be really well but 3 could be perfect while no hearts or a black heart would lessen your strength and cause you to take damage from them hitting you by accident as well. and failing you could all become corrupted, and the temple would fall as a bad ending.

then on the ones who wanna stay corrupted, it's not a bad idea that Xer could do that and it's more feasible then you think because it could be a easy way to cleanse it fast and maybe even cheap depending on materials. he could also teach us it so we could skip corrupted fights and save more people to have higher ally numbers! (then dates are like yeah Rhot would do something less than lewd for once and Grushk would prolly bird watch, cuddle or meditate with MC)

also we already know some things about her because of dialog with other characters, one being they began fighting because Logan couldn't keep up with her sex drive and some people believed he got physical with her when he never did. plus she never hated him she just wanted more sex than he could provide and ended up going insane from pleasure.

also Feliar would literally have to have murdered the entirety of a world for me to dislike him a little lol.

but yeah, I entirely forgot he said it was someone we knew, ruling out those two's dad.... but we still got 2 suspects and I wanna find out if we are right. even without evidence this feels correct lol.

now the golem's I thought they were just protecting crystals and the father was just the leader rather than something to protect, but if he is what the goal maybe his chest crystal is either really old or it was born stronger than anyone else's.

also, I think the orc's might help out but only if the MC says they have too, and the idea of him asking for training and becoming more accepting sounds amazing.

and the Ruben thing was actually an idea I think me and JustNonsense came up with a while back when we were exchanging theories XD. but on track again, maybe Ruben is a part of a cult? he could have joined for forbidden knowledge and ended up killing a bunch of people in his pursuit of it.

also Paulo and John needing to find job's and us helping sounds like a fun event! maybe it could lead to later encounter's depending on what you choose and what your rep is!

then Tao I entirely forgot he wanted to go home so yeah, maybe it could be a temp home and when we visit, he could also get told he could visit! scrap living with us and the chase hide mechanic though work better with how you described it, i thought it was limited steps and only one path which would be kinda hard to find easily and he would always wake up, but this could be countered by him always waking up and fighting you/fucking you but the less or more you fight maybe he could gain/lose strength, like a lot could give him plenty of time to prepare while a little would give him little and he would have to rush to try and stop you! then the bad endings, yeah I'm mainly just projecting a desire here lol. I want it but I'm glad you like it!

Scrap living with us then moving though could be fun because he could choose his path, like cooking at the bar or sewing with Rose as you said!

the cave though, that's complex because she might explore early and i doubt our dog/a door would stop her when she wants something XD.

and on another note, you did great writing them! they came off clean and the theories make plenty of sense if you pay attention so yeah, you're doing great! plus your ideas on mine gave me some ideas too, so like thank you!

Really? I love reading big theories too! It always makes me think and then re think over and over, and debate over things that didn't make sense etc.

Also, answering you final notes. Thanks! I really appreciate those kind words. Now that my ideas gave you some more ideas, I want to hear them! But let's talk, some more! Spoilers! Spoilers! Spoikers!

I don't think there will be things with serena again, Logan said he visited the den a day after he became the new Alpha and saw Serena "in that state" probably meaning she obviously that she bacame a wewolf like you mentioned, but he also said he don't really want to have anything to do with her and that he is glad that they separed or something like that. If there had something to do with her he would mention to MC that some of the pack is missing and his wife is one of them. But then again, who knows? There is always a possibility and I can get surprised, also the ideia she could be a goddest of fertility sounds really interesting.

I don't think the swamp Alpha or any swanp wolf would get that close to Bareshade yet, they're just in the Misty Abiss for now and Swamp Creatures usually don't get out of the swamps. So them going after those three seems unlikely, sorry.

Somehow I don't think our teacher would likely say about a wolves den on a random conversention on pure mistake. I think Ruben told our teacher his secret project and our teacher helped him by telling about the wolves den, but could not do something yet because of the situation in Northcrest. If only another herbalist appered, bringing him some health potions, healing herbs, some powders or even a flower only seen at Misty Abiss... That would help him have some stock so that no one would really need him for a few hours, plus, if he is a herbalist for some time now he probably have some kind a mount like a horse, making him getting there more faster. Jokes aside, that makes so much sense if you think about it.

I don't think a tree in Misty Abiss would have a information like that tho. But the thought that a tree could comunicate with the enemy makes me uneasy.

A werewolve kingdom would be really funny tho. Too much work to a uncanon joke but like just a comment like in the study where the is jokes on it here and there. About that question mark. I think it could be serena, but being people last belongings would make much more sense because we'll probably cure the Alpha and we know nothing about him yet. I still think that at some point we will cure serena but don't think it's any time soon.

Probably after beating the shit out of Hishh, we'll try to clean the lake but since it's cursed by a probable demon, using the gem makes sense. I still think we will need to analyse the gem closer because at the Lizard Treasure event, after Othra gives the gem back it is mention that you can analyse it further at home.

The ideia of you getting corrupted and one of your lovers trying to calm MC down somehow makes my heart melt. Like imagine, MC shaking and breathing heavily and one of your lovers hugs you to calm you down so you can drink a cleansing water or two.

I like to think it makes sense for him to save us, he says he trust us with his live and then after some time he says he would give his life to save us if needed which makes this scene more probable. Lizards seeing MC struggle and helping him seems really fun since you are really respected there (no wonder, you literally saved their race) and helping each other seems like something they would do.

About Xer, Rhot and Grousk appearing in battle to help MC seems good but would be too much coding since would be MC, Xer, Rhot and Grousk in a group agains Lizards. And Grousk being tank makes so much sense, omg.

I don't think there will be time to have more hearts befote the fight. We just got second heart with Rousk and/or Othra, we would need a date for Rhot second heart and Grousk first date to his first heart. So I don't think an a battle that hearts determined the fight would work.

A bad ending would similar but different from losing to Rousk when you fight him to take him to the temple.

You really think so? I mean, I am sure Xer could do that with cleanse water but that wouldn't be very convenient? Not gonna lie, if that happens I will be really happy.

Logan? Don't you mean Feliar? Well, I am sure Vic doesn't like him because she was probably the one who writed Feliar is a liar in a wall, but we do not know much about her so idk.

Feliar listen to us and now we can listen to him as well, it's a big step to a relasionship.

Jester or Scar. I don't know which one is the shapeshifter.

The only information we have about the Father is that he is the golem's purpose and Ruben was the one who told us that, and not even he knows what would happen to the them if Father disappeared.

I think the orcs might helps us as thanking us for helping them against the Skullbreaker Horde. Now thinking about it, the orcs probably will call us something else, like the lizards call us hero, except for Groth he probably will keep calling us by the name.

Well, we can always ask him to help us with these theories, what do you think? They say two heads thinks better than one, maybe three heads thinks better than two. (he already is giving his thoughts and theories. Hi Just Nonsense)

Another opinion on our theories wouldn't be a bad ideia. About Ruben being in a cult, I don't know, a cult is mentioned if you explore Mythshore. He probably would, but then he would have killed the city on purpose.

We would probably build a shipyard for Paulo since Bareshade is close to the ocean. And I already gave ideias about John's. We would know more about them pass time with both of them.

And while Tao and Scrap are with us, maybe could have more fireworks scenes. Where Scrap would be scared while Tao would be really excited to see.

There would have a lot of possibilities about how the chase and hide machanic could work or happen.

Scrap woulf mostrly sewing with rose during the day, cook during the afternoon and pass the night at home.

I mean, I don't think she would just invade our house out of nowhere and there is a possibility that she doesn't even get out of her cave, if so we could just ask her about all the entrances and secret passages aroud the caves. And about the dog/wolf protecting the door, it wouldn't be serious, it's because Korg is very insistent about his and our security.

I agree that Logan prolly won't want anything to do with her, but i think if she came back and seemed either repentant or like she was tricked Logan might let her be friends and if MC doesn't pursue him, she will prolly get back with him over like a VERY long time, maybe 10 years or something to build back a relationship. Also, I don't think the Alpha turned people who weren't strong or at least slightly strong physically into Werewolves, like he turned Bernard, Caleb and Logan because they seemed to be the strongest in the village, what I meant was she prolly is just there as a slut for them to fuck like crazy and eventually we can either take her away from the cave and help her recover or choose to let Logan handle that mess of a person, which he might leave her and she could continue into becoming "the goddess" I theorized about earlier. then the Alpha, thinking about it, it would make more sense to keep him close to the swamp if they got him already so yeah, it's prolly something else. what if it's scrap lol, he decided to sneak into Bareshade and now he is just random chilling around XD.

then Ruben, your idea the teacher kinda just told him to help with his projects could be interesting and has a bit of merit, they both are invested in learning and the teacher literally has an apprentice to teach his ways too (us), so it would make sense he would help someone else if he believes they or even he could learn something new. so maybe this was an attempt to gain more materials for potions or other things later? like using the infected werewolves slobber or infected werewolves' flesh/fur in a potion to recreate its enhancement effects but something else to remove the parasitic part of the swamp taking over? which could benefit Northcrest and Ruben so he could take a risk after gaining some off time from gaining assistance from another herbalist who knows nothing about this.... if that's true I'm SOO beating his ass first chance we get. I happen to be biased towards werewolves so him using us to hurt them is starting a war against a person who is FULLY willing to cheat to beat the fuck out of someone.

and my theory on the tree is that it was either always alive but only created the swamp creatures to protect it/the swamp in case the lizard folk failed, or the nameless created it by accident with his curse of lust and now everything that has been spreading the curse to the wildlife creating unnatural things and starting to infect the living with its influence.

then the kingdom, it would be fun tbh. like imagine getting to hang out with a KING OF WEREWOLVES! then proceeding to seduce him and become a king as well via marriage. I would LOVE that, and maybe we could find out its a curse and his entire kingdom needs Antilycan (which I just realized is literally Anti Lycan.) or else it will soon fall to madness because wolf's bane is failing them. then Serena, if she really is a werewolf too and they have her still mentally broken, I wonder what would bring her back to humanity? and how she would cope with being a wolf as well, would she hate it as a reminder of her infidelity or love it as a connection to a time she felt nothing but pure bliss and pleasure?

also, I wanna beat his ass but I'm curious if he cute or not, which isn't important but like maybe corruption wouldn't be so bad if he is kinda good looking XD, however that's off topic and we will most definitely need to examine it and it will also prolly take a large part of the story to either find out how to use it, or actually use it. it is absolutely important to magical things though, why else would the nameless even try to steal it? a demon with essentially God like powers wouldn't do that for some measly relic. when we find out its true power, maybe we could even banish the Nameless and take back the other gem?

then that scene. imagining it literally makes my heart melt, the idea of Roushk walking up behind you with no fear and grabbing you looking you in the eyes and helping keep you sane while you absorb the corruption sounds heart meltingly adorable, or both him and Othra doing it by grabbing one hand and saying they are there for you. maybe even Rhot could join in by hugging you or wrapping his tail around your thigh and being all embarrassed about it or Xer walking forwards and hugging you or something I'm uncertain what his Physical signs are for affection. then Grushk too could be just chilling with his presence saying "I'm here" because again I don't know his love type either. then afterwards they could just like all check up on the herbalist and just panic, like Xer would be panicking thinking you got hurt Othra would hug you while crying being all happy and relieved you're ok and Roushk would just be standing all happy saying "my hero..." while Rhot would be resisting all his urges to run and hug you while no one else resists it at first but some back off while Othra and Xer check to see if your secretly just like dead or something.

also yeah, thinking about the length of time before those hearts, it doesn't fully make sense to have that without having a lot more Lizard content coming out asap....

plus, the bad ending thing makes sense if it was like Hishh but maybe since we disappear it could have a storyline where the leaders and others seek us out and if we have enough like + love from certain characters we could "wake up" in the cleansing water in a similar way to Roushk with the people who care about you holding you, or we could corrupt it/not get saved and eternally live in the second corrupted lake.

and yeah! the Xer being a warrior cleanser with something like that could work pretty well, just needs a well added storyline where he finally makes a breakthrough in his cleansing studies.

No btw, I meant Feliar. he is HELLA suspicious, but I absolutely feel how I said about Feliar lol. which would be only changed by him committing mass murder on an entire world, Vic though I don't think she wrote the traitor thing. I don't know anyone else who would, but I don't think she did.

also, yeah Jester feels more likely because of his attitude and him attempting to befriend us when we could be a threat, you know the saying "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer." (Purely because if he is a shapeshifter, he might think us a threat and try to befriend us so if he reveals it, we tell him we won't tell anyone, and he gains a REAL ally.) but at the same time, it could be Scar and that's why he is so distrustful, he doesn't want anyone finding out he isn't who he says he is. he also might be trying to keep Jester away from Northcrest and the nobles might not be as bad as we thought and its him keeping Jester away while his father is trying to find him because he knows about Scar being the shapeshifter and he thinks his son is in danger being near him.

then the Golems, I wonder if he is a LifeSource for them? maybe that crystal inside him is what keeps all of them alive?

now on Paulo and John, we might be able to convince Bernard to let us build a shipyard and maybe if John wants a custom place, we could ask Bernard to let us do it as a favor due to the hell they went through. this could also lead into Tao, where we could build a shipyard and since we helped build it maybe Tao could get a free Ferry from here to his home and we could keep him safe until the shipyard is built! and Scrap could build a house in Bareshade or if he is too anxious, he could build a house near the forest with us!

and on Vic, she feels like the "oh? privacy? I don't know what that means!" type of person is what I'm worried about lol. she is also a demon, so I doubt she has any morals against either killing or subduing our dog if he gets in her way.... and Korg even finding out we hang with her might make him dislike us because of what she did.

I don't think Logan is the forgiving type and even if he was it would far too long for them to have a possibility to get back.

I mean, we are an herbalist so it's our job to help others. Even if we could just let Logan take care of this mess (or in this case, not take care) I don't think it would be the right thing to do.

After talking with Just Nonsense I have to agree that there is a possibility that the white beast seen during the day could be the Alpha, normal wolves can be alert during the day if one of the pack is pregnant or there is some kind of danger closeby.

That makes the two of us! No one mess with the werewolves like that. Shit, he did some fucked up experiment with them and now look what happened to them! And then making us fight them, that's just too cruel.

If indeed was him, he is going to pay for that.

I don't really think the alpha became a swamp werewolf, what I think is that it was some other werewolf, since, when we were searching for a cure on the teacher's books there was a mention on how the werewolves weren't seen around Bareshade for like 30 or 50 years I don't remember exactly, and the herbalist themselve questions where did the alpha come from since, if, he was living in the area with the capability to create werewolves for so long then how come nobody noticed him, so I think the alpha split from some pack somewhere else and migrated to the forest near Bareshade and now another one of that pack is coming to the area or it was another type of werebeast(?) altogether or alternatively the white beast of the rumor could be the alpha fleeing from the area since he lost his position to Logan.

I think the chance of Ruben being involved in the swamp werewolf fiasco is very slim since he seems very interested in potion brewing and potion development and creating a variant of swamp creature doesn't really seem to align with that, and Hissh is kinda busy planning a coup so the only viable option for me is either the witch or something new is interfering with the swamp and is trying to strengthen the swamp creatures for some reason.

I actually think the golems are protecting a gem or something similar, since Ruben mentioned "the heart" or something it's been a while since I had that dialogue with him, that the father is protecting, I also don't think the father is even an emerine golem to begin with, and I'm not even sure why I think that, but in my mind it makes sense that he is another race entirely from the golems, and if I'm right then the plot with them could go something like the herbalist helping them develop some independence and learn to live for themselves contrary to living in function of another

I don't think the Alpha would run away, and the situation it's kinda complex because Logan is the new Alpha but he dispite werewolves so he don't want them near Bareshade, so probably the werewolves are confused to what to do and the white Alpha kinda of protects de den (I think).

I am just saying that Ruben could be a suspect and I really think it is him idk. And the Witch also is a big suspect but why she would do it by herself? We already owe two favors to her so why she doesn't make us do that? If she doesn't want to use the favors to do that then must be something else, maybe something worse.

I also think that the heart is another gem, but I don't know if the Father is a golem or something else. And I agree that the plot must be something like what you said.

Yeah the alpha simply bailing on the pack on the first sign of trouble would be weird even if he doesn't hold the alpha position anymore which leaves us with the possibility that it's another white werewolf or werebeast, it could also just be the alpha trying to drag Logan's attention to the pack somehow.

And it certainly could be Ruben since I have trust issues and unless people plainly declare what their intentions are, I cannot fully trust them, tho it brings me to question what he would gain from creating a new breed of swamp creature maybe going with the mad scientist vibe me and Toothless got going with our theories regarding him, he could be collecting data on how different creatures react to having their biologies drastically changed or maybe he's trying to create super soldiers or just hybrids for the secret organisation that he is probably part of.

If it's the witch and not some other power, then she could not be cashing in the favours because she doesn't really need help with what she's doing or she's just hording them for when she knows that she'll really need them like on a dramatic showdown in the future or some confrontation scene.

Circling back to the Golems I think the father is not one of them because of the vagueness we get from Ruben, sure he didn't really want to talk about the topic to begin with but he got extra vague when he got to the part about the father and just gave the need to know information, the father is important, he's guarding something, he got pissed with Ruben and expelled him from there, also if they're really guarding a gem and the father was some race not the golems them it would be easier to have something happen to him, like the golems are easily manipulated but I doubt they're easy to harm, they're covered in magic glow rocks that are super hard and they just seem inexhaustible so their endurance/constitution must be pretty high, so yea, anyway the reason that something needs to happen to the father is to expose how the golems's society is flawed and to trigger the whole live for yourself mentality, of course that would come after solving the whole debacle with whatever happens with the father and the drama that ensues.

Something completely unrelated to what was being talked above do you think that the rat king is actually a fake king of the ratkin and the real one is actually scrap? Or at least Scrap is similar to a rat king. Like this been floating in the back of my brain for a while now but Scrap and the Rat king are the only ratkin that show individuality from the rest to the point of actually having distinct personalities and interests(even if the Rat king can be debated on that account), Scrap has also shown animosity towards the Rat king that is not his usual I'm disgusted, or I'm afraid so and as for the Rat king... He really doesn't care about anything his position is more of an empty title than anything else and we don't have enough interactions with him to allow a deeper personality analysis or character flashing out, so...

In game says that the white beast was seen during the day and what was told in the game is that werewolves are night creatures, so they would be mostly sleeping during the day. Could be another white werewolf, a stronger one. But could be another werebeast.

Sometimes I can be like that too, I can understand you in some degree. If it's Ruben, I really want to know his motives, why would he do that? Could be so many things.

I think he was THAT vague is because he doesn't know that much about the Father, he didn't tell everything he knows of course but I don't think he could have all the answers. I think the characters we know less about are people from Northcrest, putting werewolves aside.

I don't think he's a fake king, you described in the most perfect way possible: it's just a empty title. But I don't have any theories about why he is different from other ratkins, probably because he's older or something.

I think Scrap is different because he was born different. If I am correct he was born with albinism, making his fur being white, that's probably why he's short and pretty much being bullied. And because the ratking wouldn't help him it wouldn't be a surprise he doesn't like the ratking.

I generally base the werewolves habits to that of normal wolves and while normal wolves are nocturnal animals they can and are active during day time especially when there's something happening like when one them is sick or pregnant or when they're migrating to new territories.

And yes because we know so little about people in Northcrest I expect a backstabbing at every moment we're interacting with them.

Also while the Rat king's position is an empty one it somehow feels like a tradition that has been around for so long it lost meaning, so I think that originally the Rat king title held some importance and meaning to ratkin society but that was lost with time and ended up becoming this empty title that goes to the biggest ratkin around because they're the "strongest" tho the Rat king is obviously not that strong and he's just as weak to shows of strength as any other ratkin because of their natural inclination to being cowards.

Also I have this weird theory that scrap is the Rat king's unwanted son and he's different due to his genes, though because Scrap was born small the other rats just don't respect him, I don't really think Scrap has albinism he's just a white ratkin dwarfism or some kind of bad formation are more likely to be the reason why the others treat him like that, since it was mentioned he is human sized in height when all others of his species are taller than humans that is kind of weird. Alternatively he could be different because he's half human... actually how do ratkin reproduce they're all males no? Can they get each other pregnant? Do they impregnate other species, and the child is always a ratkin? Are there female ratkin and we somehow never encountered them before? Damn time to add that to the pile of unanswered questions...

The idea that it's another creature or WereBeast actually sounds incredibly awesome! like what if it's a WereBear? or a WereLion/Cat dude? we could have AN ENTIRELY NEW PEOPLE TO DISCOVER AND HARASS OFF THE BASIS OF ONE SHOWING THEMSELF BY ACCIDENT!!!!!!

and him being vague feels like something his type of person would do unless he believes we can help him with it or are trustworthy enough which so far, we are neither.

and yeah, I like the idea of him being a fake king, even if it's not likely as I said in my reply up above it could be a pretty cool storyline! (Also yeah, the condition is called albinism and it usually causes animals/people to have no/less melanin in the skin, so they are seen as white. but it also usually gives them red eyes sometimes)

I said that he probably doesn't have albinism because any person or animal with that condition is extremely sensitive to sunlight, like really sensitive to sunlight, to the point it harms them horribly and Scrap doesn't seem to have any problem with that so his fur might just white naturally, since there is white rats that aren't albine.

Please give me more werebeasts there can never be enough of them.

And I agree that that's just how Ruben is, but he was kinda of extra vague there and he was low-key kind of saying you don't know what you're dealing with so fuck off.

oh, I agree, also the fact that his eyes seem to be more blue than red, I'm just stating Albinism is a thing and could be a possibility. (i did not know about the sensitivity to sunlight though, which kinda debunks this as well)

Well, if the werewolves are indeed acting like normal wolves, then there is a chance that it is the Alpha that appeared during the day. Because the pack was in danger. Also, yeah, more werebeasts would be kinda cool.

About ratkin reproducing, it is weird that we didn't saw any female ratkin yet.

what if the Alpha was the reason Logan knew about the pack being in trouble? like when he was near Bareshade he did something that alerted Logan about the packs distress and how he needed to help?

now everything else is quite literally almost exactly how I feel so I won't comment on that, but the rat king being a fake king sounds interesting, like what if the previous rat king was a scavenger and built things but ended up being dethroned by the current one because he was able to awaken an old trait of the rat people? (The sexual insatiability) and he caused him to go insane with lust? and Scrap being resistant could be a sign of evolution in the kind and us causing him to regress could be us doing what the current king did and now need to help him overthrow the current one if we keep him on the sexual path? or let the current one stay and have Scrap integrate into society? maybe we could even start a whole new people with Scrap as the leader!
