Don't be so harsh on yourself, you did as you could what matters is trying and improving ! Though I would say that what ever the project you can always make an awesome looking page on itch ! Maybe include a screenshot of the controls which you have included in the game

To this page as well and might as well add a title page so the people looking at it have a bit of a see towards the game before downloading it.

Don't give up, failing or not being able to do something as you wished to is part of the learning curve, remember that !

A person failing or not being able to do something they wished in the first place makes them more valuable for the future, we don't succeed by passing all the time, we succeed because we have failed so many times !

Have an awesome rest of the development, I believe in you !

(Everything can be done if you believe in yourself)

-- Note to add --

Awesome work !

Thanks. I'll add that image. Changing the game during the voting period is against the rules, but I guess changing the page should be OK?

Sorry I'm not fully sure, but It is best that you keep it at how it is currently !  But I do Recommend that when the voting period ends diffidently do man !

This jam doesn't say anything about updates during the voting period, but according to the itch.io automatically-enforceable rules, it should be allowed:

Participants are free to update their submission page design and content while their files are locked.

That is awesome to hear, wish you the best of luck in the exploration of finishing the page :D !
