Really cool game !

The art is lovely, the portal gameplay is a very clever match on the theme & the puzzle platforming is well made & challenging enough.

Few feedbacks if you plan to iterate on the game:

  • The player controls could be reworked & fine tuned a bit. right know the movement speed and the jump make the platforming part of the game a bit painful (especially the start with spikes). maybe give a little bit of latency & slow it down a bit.
  • Also having the possibily to jump with w key would be nice (spacebar became a convention for 3d games since the w is taken for the forward movement, but for a 2d game there's no reason not to use the w key for it ;) )
  • You can get softlocked in the pit with the message "shoot beyond where you can see" if you go there before collectin the portal gun. (this path should either not be available without the gun or you should be able to go back)

Appart from that, really cool & well rounded game jam game. Great work :)

Thanks for the great feedbacks! As the programmer, first point is known issue. Because some problem, i make my own platform controller in a day.
Second point is a nice advice, I should add more input option
Last point is also known issue after publishing, we the developer need more of understanding player`s perspective

Thanks for the feedback, we didn't have enough time to playtest that much and I came to realize the softlock pit afterwards, which was too late unfortunately.  Thank you again for the informative feedback :)
