If you're talking about the the mirror cat, then when the hands show up you need to hover your cursor over the hands to get rid of them. If you're talking about Suki, then just deflate the blimp to keep her occupied.

I try to listen for them and I look everywhere on the lower half, but I can’t see them. I do a couple of figure 8 motions on the mirror and I still get caught.
Update: Nevermind, I just got past it. It takes a little bit of timing and patience. The trick is not to move around too fast and to flash the flashlight a couple times until the hands become visible (though not too much otherwise that’d trigger the jumpscare).
