Cool game! I like the concept of a boss rush game. It's not a good decision not to save. If you die it's frustrating to start all over again, It's too hard for new players who dont want to practise. Maybe some playtesting would have helped. I like the graphics. The gameplay could be smoother. If the character gets hit by something the player wants to know what hit him. Because of that the developer has to provide feedback like a flashing player, screen shake, some fire particles if it was a fireball or a punch animation for the boss so that the player knows why he lost. Otherwise the game feels a little bit unfair to the player. With a litttle bit more polish it would have been an extremely good game.

But still a very cool game.

(These are only suggestions to make the game better. I dont think your game is bad. It is not by any means. And I should have provided more feedback for the player i my game too.)

Yeah I definetly understand.  I really wanted to implement player feedback but I was pretty tired for the end of the day and added as much as I could (Sound effects, bug fixes, tutorial, story) and mentally didn't really have enough energy top create much more. But I 100% agree with you, player feedback really needed to be more clear. Yeah I think one problem with the game is that I knew all the bosses attack patterns and was pretty experienced with them, I did have some people playtest and I am glad I did, I made the game a lot easier, and to me that was my main reason not to implement saving, well that and besides once again I was getting pretty tired. So yeah I definetly cut some corners, but in the end I am glad you had fun!

It's completely Ok to be tired and not to have a perfect game. It's a cool game and the boss patterns are really interesting. You have many cool things in your game. You should be very proud to have a working game! I didn't even manage to add sound effects to my game
