Ooohhh, this is coming along =3
Excited to see this game taking shape. Leaving some feedback on 0.5.0 here (which may or may not be relevant depending on how your backlog is looking like).

Couldn’t play the native Linux version this time around. It just made plasma get sort of hung up here. Might be unity library nonsense, it’s not always smooth, wouldn’t be too worried about it. Windows version through Wine worked fine

Found a bug with the interactions with the maids (and Az’ea). Once you click the action button (“praise her”, “punish her”, etc) the effect of the action is applied and the text box comes up. That text box doesn’t get focus properly, it seems, as if you press space, to advance text, instead, it activates the button again. Quite convenient, allowing you to max whatever it was you clicked immediately

The changelog mentions that the different scenes variants are dependant on lust but I got them one after the other. I suspect this may be related to me abusing the bug above to max out obedience and love rather quick, which would indicate that maybe lust is not being used as “the defining stat” for that? Unsure if that’s unintended or a mistake on the changelogs

As a player my most immediate desire from playing the demo would be a mouseover indicator for the castle rooms. Especially when assigning maids to clean up rooms, this would be a godsend
-
Maybe second to this would be tweaking the description on the disabled room upgrade buttons so that you know what you would gain even if the room still needs to be cleaned up. This would allow the player to better decide on what to prioritise. Right now it’s a bit hard to keep track of things, especially since at this initial stage, the player isn’t very familiar with the layout
-
And as a minor suggestion, since the gameplay loop is a bit limited at this stage, consider boosting stats gains for the moment. There’s not much to do at this point and once the bug (and a half?) above gets fixed, a player starting from scratch would, as mentioned “take quite a while to get there”, but with the game running out of content somewhat early, then that becomes just a lot of grind. Once more things fall into place, I’m sure it’ll be smoother, but could be helpful at this stage.

Oh, one more minor thing. At one point I got the event where I could send the maids to deal with the mutated animals. This at the time sounded like a very terrible idea but later on I got the flashback scene with their backstory and once that happened I thought that maybe it wasn’t as unreasonable as it’d looked at first. I’d consider trying to ensure that type of even does not come before the player is shown that, yeah, the maids ARE martially capable (allegedly, at least).
Hope this is helpful and looking forward to future versions
