Way too good. Everything about this: the writing, the art, the general layout and UI, even the soft classical music, just works so well and creates an atmosphere that simultaneously drags me in and makes me scared at what will follow each click.

If I have one criticism, it's that the hunger opening was super cool the first playthrough, slightly less cool the second and somewhat annoying the third. I understand and appreciate the intent (like I said, first time around it's perfect setup, gives a subtle idea of what the player ought to be doing to move the game forward, and even builds a little tension). But it's decently long, and I don't think (?) anything changes as a result of it.

Overall, however, probably my personal favorite of the jame (that I've playing so far, of course). Great work.

Thank you for the feedback! Re the opening, in the settings you can change the text delay for the options in the opening, but it doesn't change the animation speed. Also I see a bug now where the delay is defaulting to min in the settings display but isn't min in code, so you have to drag it to make it register as min delay. I'll fix that and add an instant display for the intro. I think I'll just set text delay to a toggle for instant vs cinematic . Thanks again for the feedback, it was very helpful!

Goofy me, didn't even look in the settings. Sounds like you've got a way to work it out!

oh re your game, be sure to select playable on mobile and select portrait for orientation. Right now it's unnecessary landscape on a phone, but it's a simple fix which should work fine though the main splash may be cut off.

Good to know. Thanks!
