Quite a cool concept. I've never thought of making a game about Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs before so definitely a refreshing idea indeed.

I know you want the player to feel the fall from a higher step to a lower one when they choose a wrong door but it's a little annoying just to replay a level I've already beaten.

Overall, great game!

I was thinking the same and I would have liked for the doors' words to be randomly switched each try from a pool of related needs (first level has bread but it could also have sleep and water, ...).
