What hardware are you running on? GPU, specifically.
Sounds strange with the header errors, its packaged using 7zip.
You could try downloading again since there could be an issue with the file.
I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760.
Try updating drivers, OS etc.
The gpu are below minim reqs so can't guarantee it will work at all but it should be able to start, at least.
It might be that it does not support some hardware features of directX12 that are required in Unreal Engine 5, it is a 10 year old card, after all.
also tried redoading it but it didn't fix it
