Thank you for taking the time to play! I'm happy you enjoyed the visual art. There is a small trick with the lightning bolts, the pitch. I wonder if on the online version as well you can jump off the ledge, I probably didn't put any boundaries there since if you wanted to jump you could (although the camera wouldn't follow you so that's an issue hehe).
great idea with the boss climbing upwards! I also wanted to include something similar bad planning and time estimation on my part.
What you've made is amazing, 4's and 5's from me. I didn't pick up on the pitch the first and second time I played but that was me not paying attention and rushing to not get struck rather than thinking with my brain. I later read a comment above mine on your page and I gave it another go and the telegraphing is very clear. It's really clever to use sound to indicate the positions of the incoming bolts and I like using the cog to get up. Only issue I found was on the downloadable version with the ends, not sure what I did to make the ends not be solid but the online version works perfect, didn't even think about going out of bounds and doubt others will
