I'm not an expert in these things, but I think if the assets are tagged respectively I guess it's ok, there will be a very very small niche of people who want AI generated assets, I guess. but Itch.io doesn't allow to exclude tags. So many requests to remove tags and they haven't done it, it's just benefits, searching elements in itch.io would be a million times better if you could exclude tags. Web page programming must be a hard job.

As an illustrator, I should be super pissed off like everyone else complaining about AI and what they do but.... I guess I'm a bad illustrator for not complaining. It's something that's wrong but I end up in a "too bad" and go about my business. I feel weirder than I am for not being bothered on the same level as others with things like this, especially with something that technically affect me.

Itch.io add an option to exclude tags  in search pleaaaseeeee

Just formally it is possible to exclude tags but it is still workaround https://itch.io/t/160014/can-i-use-exclusion-filters

This does help, though even with the filter there's still a ton of them, either because creators don't know to use the tag or blatantly leaving that detail out.
