Hey, this is a pretty cool game!

The concept is very interesting. I has a cute little unique spin on a retro classic and brings interesting things to the table. It stands out mostly due to its customizable maps and distinct terrains, each with their own designs and obstacles. The little snake and the rectangular terrains are adorable by the way :)

- The UI is quite good! It makes perfect sense to the player and freely lets them play the game how they want. At first I was going to complain about the default zsdq controls, but I was relieved when I found that I was able to change them, and many other things.

- The playability is solid, the core gameplay is interesting and fresh despite its classic roots, and everything performed wonderfully!

- I didn't find anything wrong with the functionality. Sometimes I would get confused as to why the snake would hit something in the pond level, when it seemed to just hit another water tile, but I may be missing something.

- I quite like the game page! It clearly showcases all the modes that game has to offer and explains them, so players will definitely get excited if it's their cup of tea.

I take it you have a heart for the retro classics? It seems I do as well... I could use some extra feedback on my retro-style RPG, if you don't mind: https://wasabiiii.itch.io/grass-elemental-demo-demo

Anyway, this game has lots of potential, keep up the good work!

Thank you for the feedbacks ! I'll investigate the issue with collision detection 🤔the snake is only supposed to collide with obstacles twice it's size but the fact it's submerged in water might throw all my calculations off. I was going for kind of a retro esthetic with the visuals and soundtrack so I'm relieved that's indeed how it comes off.

Update: now I see what you mean ! When being submerged too long in water the snake dies which is the intended behavior but obviously it wasn't made apparent enough so I'll work on fixing that 😊
