Nice one! I heard sketching can be very underrated- but it helps generate cool ideas freely. Never been a fan of trying to translate drawings into exact squares or circles unless that's a style you're going for- I break things I see down into basic non-defined shapes :) I like how your sketching process demonstrates shape language/balance and you have a defined silhouette.

Once you have a lot of experience, you don't always need to sketch, but I think it's good practice either way because its hard to visualize proper measurements in our mind. The more details we have, the easier it is to see what's wrong.
