I’m really excited for this update! I think it will add a lot of polish to my asset pack. This update will be out next week sometime ^_^ it’s sorta ready to go right now but because it’s changing a fair bit-and I already added things I need to make brand new screenshots and gifs/maps which takes me a little time because I’m still a bit rusty at that. I hope you enjoy my pixel art 😊

I also want to include a free version! I am just planning what to include in it. I want to add more to the paid version too and reward everyone who has supported me so far! I’m so grateful!! Thank you so much from all my heart!

I see! Do you have a working prototype for your game? Indivisible has super cute artwork! I actually haven't seen this game before and has really unique art-I love it! ^_^

I’m interested! Tell me more :)

The art for this game looks quirky and fantastic!! Seriously awesome stuff!

I think this looks like a super fun game I would love to play! The game play reminds me of the good old PS2  GTA games when I would skip questing just so I could steal a car, get chased and race around while getting beat up and shot at by helicopters. My car would get beat up, bonnet would fly off and eventually catch fire and explode and that would be so satisfying to me for some-reason!!!!! Definitely put a big grin on my 10 year old self (my mum would buy GTA even if it was R18+ for us because we were "mature enough" to handle it ahaha). I would love to play this game when its finished! I love the idea of aggressive cactus! Maybe some could even shoot needles at you.

WOW!!!! These look so awesome! :D wonderful work!

Ooooo a Bee! That sounds super cool! I will make it the next enemy/NPC I make! ^^ I made a slime so I feel like it will be an appropriate step up from that so very excited to make it. I can also make honey! (but the wall/gameplay will be completely up to you if you put it in your game!) I will try and make it so it matches your description!

I really love the shading on the original chest, but the one you added looks great too! Thanks for incorporating some of out feedback~ YEY :D

This colour palette for the pixels is amaze-balls. I love how simple and clean your art can be! The colours interact and work together so well they add complexity to the over all simple design! inspiring stuff!

I agree with dustdfgs comment on the perspective. It's a freaking amazing looking chest- I love it! but for a viewer its a bit dizzying having 2 different perspectives. Probably wouldn't take much to fix- a few pixels shifted to the left and you're all good.

Wonderful tutorial.. I don't know why but I always really struggle with wood texture. I think I will try adding less detail like your tutorial.

Nice one! I heard sketching can be very underrated- but it helps generate cool ideas freely. Never been a fan of trying to translate drawings into exact squares or circles unless that's a style you're going for- I break things I see down into basic non-defined shapes :) I like how your sketching process demonstrates shape language/balance and you have a defined silhouette.

Joined! I wanna do this!!! It's a wonderful chance! I love the logo you made!!!!!!!!! Also what a freaking cool event! YAY!!!!!!!! LET'S DO THIS

I would be down for that!!!! What a great idea :) sorry I’ve been a bit absent lately- I’ve been through a very tough round of things in my life.

ooooo lovely! I really like the doors/they draw my eyes because of the lovely way you highlighted the wood. I admire your sense of object size and space too! everything blends together seamlessly and is something I would love to achieve in my own work when I do interiors!you are goals!

ooo lovely! I really like the picture with the tree/top right. The highlight you made on the character's hair is visually very appealing to me and moody :D

This art style is sooooo cute! I am in love!

wow cool! I want to say again that I like this character design ^_^

Hi everyone! I have been really trying to improve my pixel art lately so I decided to make some asset packs and do some documentation on my process. I really enjoy making game assets :D It's sooooo fun!

Do you take progress shots too and evaluate your process too? How did you improve your animation? I am trying to get better at animating sprites.. Did you find anything that has helped you?  If you also make pixel art for games: how do you test your sprites? I have been using GameMaker and some people have been recommending godot over it. Should I change to godot or something else?

Wow many questions I have... @_@ Thank you everyone! <3 <3 <3

Oh my goodness this pack is super awesome!!!!!! :D Thanks for sharing!

Aww thank you so much ^_^ I really enjoy making building sprites and want to do more again in future! It means a lot that you said you like the roof- :D  I tried a different style to usual after watching "adamcyounis" and his video critiquing a viewers house roof- it really inspired me to paint a blue roof too and I think his advice on omitting detail and focusing on gradient looks effective.

SOOOOOO cute!!!! I want him as a pet >.<

Wow this lil guy is so alive!!!! The animations are super impressive! The explosion certainly packs a punch!

Wow! this looks great! Very clean and professional looking! I really love the details on his jacket/hood and the head bobbling as he walks looks really awesome! One small thing- it might be just me? But his lower arm looks a little too long in this frame. Or maybe this guy has a bit of a robotic style walk since he is wearing a military style jacket and boots and that kind of long straight arm emphasizes this about your character. Again, absolutely killer character sprite! Please share your other future animations and additions too! I would love to see that!

These tiles are really beautiful! Isometric is kinda hard to make but these are so professional!

Awesome! I really like your style! Will have to try and catch one of your live streams :D I love watching pixel art progress!

This game looks awesome! I really love the art style! militarily  is not a theme I usually like to explore in games but I absolutely want to play this game!

oooo! Getting the retro pixel vibes! Very nice!

This is so incredible! I love the colour palettes and the detail. I am also trying to learn to pixel water falling at the moment and it's not easy.. Maybe I should do some studies like this one!

Ooo yes I am getting creepy whimsical tree vibes!

A mistake??? really? These different colors look awesome! I like the variety of texture too.

Haha thanks. I just finished making it >.<'  Thanks for noticing!~~~

The blinking animations ahhh- so so, cute!!! Simple but very adorable! This is a nice character pack!

These bushes are beyond adorable! ☺️ the different colour palettes look nice too!

This looks... absolutely terrifying XD chills activated.

Fully support this!  This is so helpful! I actually was just learning about metadata this week in my photography class and how you can set it in adobe light-room. I had no idea itch.io supported it too!!! I have been making digital art for years and literally just learned what metadata is... (yep I'm slow haha!) thank you so much for sharing this! It is really important and helpful for fellow creators.

Ah I see what you mean! That would be a great idea!

That's a great idea! Like release it as an addon content? I have never made a full GUI before so I think releasing it separate to my other work might be wise haha. I spent 2 nights after work on this tree so probably about 5 hours? I think the reason it took so long was because I "finished it" by the second drawing after a few hours- but was really unhappy with it and how it looked in game. (Due to it being too wide looking/proportions are wrong). It might be hard to tell- but I had to resize and redraw a lot of it between the 2nd and 3rd picture. I was not happy with my dumb mistake and I think I will plan more roughly and test it in earlier in game next time- but I am happy with how it looks now.

oh this is so cute! I love the pets ^.^ the vegetables also look yummy! The pumpkin is especially adorable!
