😀 Thanks that feedback means a lot. I hope to improve in some sense each jam I do even if it’s just under the hood. I will get the walk cycle sorted and a bit more life in the player I promise. It will be a challenge due to the odd angle and style but will be all the sweeter if I can pull it off.
If it’s ok quick question on your game the lip sync in the hud how did you do that it was noticeably more complicated than I would have expected or had to be to still look great.
Yeah of course! I tried using an AI animation tool called HeyGen for the first time, and it did a pretty good job of turning the voice mp3 into a video. But I'm out of free credits so I'm not sure if I'll use it again. Hahah. But yeah, it was in some ways easy and some ways hard. I was able to animate a photo of the character into a video, but it was cropped super weird, then I had to run it through a bunch of filters and stuff to make it look like a steampunky screen.
