The eye mouse-looking animation wouldn’t be very easy to make since the character is completely done using traditional frame by frame animation. This tiny not-important feature would mean hours of extra work.

On to the respawn - yes, I agree this is not done the best way and it can be frustrating. We spent most on the art, character controller and animations and just didn’t have enough time to properly design and polish the overall game design.

To your screenshots:

 - you just have to go right and over the spikes in the first one. 

- the second one - you have use a small jump by just pressing the jump button, not holding it. The character’s jump height is simply related to the button hold time.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the feedback . We really appreciate that.  And we’re definitely going to check and rate your game (and as many others we’ll be able to) during this week.
