The art is very pretty and the game feels pretty polished, but I feel that there are some problems:

  • the controls are kinda annoying to get used to...
  • I just didn't get what  I supposed to do with the register view.
  • It always appears as if there is only one scoop on the cone, so I don't know if I did serve a cone with 2+ scoops or not...
  • Is the time of your deliver important? I think maybe, since I just cant get a 3 stars even if I do everything right
  • the fact that I got 0 stars from that bunny

All in all, it's a pretty and relaxing game. Good job

Thank you for playing and the feedback! I'll try to address your points as best I can:

  • I wanted to have the controls in the same configuration as if using the actual hardware as opposed to everyone else that just says to use arrow keys and spacebar, I wanted it to be more accurate, but everyone is complaining so maybe it was a mistake ;^^
  • Every step of the game is explained in the instructions on the game page, as for the register, you just need to calculate the price of the ingredients you used and charge the correct amount
  • The visual of the assembled ice cream is a bit lackluster for sure, I wanted an indication of the possibility that adding the ingredients in the wrong order could be incorrect, it came together near the deadline so i was a bit rushed
  • I actually wanted there to be a time limit but in the end i had to prioritize getting everything else in working order, I'd imagine you're getting docked points because of the register view
  • : )

Appreciate the input!

As for the controls, I got the idea of why, and I did like the idea. It's not bad per se. It's just that it's kinda clunky to get used to it. By the way, on the assemble page the button to wipe the ice cream (2) is mapped according to the computer numpad instead of the nokia keypad.

As for the steps to play the game. Ops, it seems I suffer from that condition that keeps people from reading the manual before using a product :P
