This game was definitely a nice surprise! The setting and the characters were amazing, and the graphics and art style were really nice. While I wasn't a fan of the MC, I loved some of the enemy designs.
Now, while I tend to enjoy difficult games where you have to try over and over to master the mechanics/enemies, I understand that it can be tedious and unsatisfying to some players, which leads to their experience being ruined. I'd personally recommend adding either a difficulty setting or an option to skip certain battles/events (I did that with some of my games and players definitely appreciated it)
Other than that, this was a fantastic game and I really enjoyed it!

I agree with you about the difficulty of the game. 
Just today, we were working on lightening it a bit - mainly by fixing errors (including a couple of bugs that slipped through and were discovered by a streamer and one of the collaborators) and especially by adding some hints on what to do and where to go in certain more adrenaline-filled situations.
Honestly I'm not too keen on the idea of skipping bosses, but indeed I could implement different difficulty levels - I'll definitely try that in the next versions.
Even though the jam is over, we care a lot about it. For some of us, this is our first video game, so I want it to end up as good as possible.
