damn... i can't say i anticipated that xd.

this was absolutely incredible, i can't even imagine the amount of work that went towards making this game! there is just so much here, and all of it is incredibly polished! lets start with the gameplay, because the multi-character platforming mechanic is something fresh and different from other platformers that i played. it doesn't even feel like a gimmick, the idea feels well fleshed out and explored throughout the entirety of the game (different spacings, different directions, different character amounts). the platforming segments aren't easy but aren't too hard either on keyboard so thats nice. though adding accessibility option through the use of mouse is also a really nice touch, well done! though i'm curious if the coins served a function other than being a nice challenge collectible, regardless it was still fun!

the presentation is this game is also phenomenal! the visuals play around with a lot of fun ideas, every new area is unique and cool to look at, especially the final areas! the cutscenes and the animations (Hubert especially) go crazy, i was totally not expecting that!!! also the music is insane, each track was so pleasant to listen to and added to the tone of each level! im currently listening to chapter 3's BGM as i'm writing this, i really enjoyed listening to it when i first got to this part! the story shocked me the most. you wrote a complete journey and integrated it nicely into the game! there was never a dull moment in it and i felt engaged the entire time, well done!

i am floored, this is so impressive for a game that was made within the 2 week period, great work!

Thank you very much! I probably spent far more time bug fixing the game than doing anything else, even though I spent what probably amounted to a couple days on all the music lmao, so I'm glad my polishing efforts are appreciated, as well as that music that I may have spent more time than necessary on.

And as for the coins, I was considering adding a cosmetic shop where you could get different visual variations of the cube friends, but I basically ran out of time while making the boss fight. I even had to trim the fight down to its basic elements and rush an ending to get at least the story done in time for the end of the jam. At the moment, all getting the coins does is it changes the title screen background.
