i love it. the first song sound like something of off F♯ A♯ ∞ by Godspeed You! Black Emperor. to me it would’ve been a obvious choice to do something really echo/reverby for when get inside, so the bass track really subverted my expectation. really “in your face”, almost feels a bit improvisational. very cool, very unique

thanks for playing! the words that spawn are a list of a couple of thousand of the most popular english words. and then there’s a “dictionary” that i use to check if the typed word is real, which is about 400k words (and the majority of the game file size lol). both i just found edited and turned to json

thanks for checking it out!!

so much content, must have taken a lot of work, really impressive to get it all together in such a short time. cards feel good to play which i think is an underrated aspect in these sorts of games. i think there’s a lot of cool ideas in “space themed cards” to be come up with. great entry!

some serious talent on display here. obviously it’s a simple idea, but the way it’s put together, down to even the game over screen being satisfying, makes it really compelling. really goes to show the power of setting a reasonable scope (which any developer will know, is borderline impossible) and really nailing it. excellent work

that’s really encouraging, balatro was definitely on my mind when coming up with it. thanks again, you’ve given me a lot to think about!

“what spikes” i thought right before getting jump scared by one. had fun with this one! the part where you have to jump off the boxes had a good balance of difficulty to it, which made it really engaging for me. although picking up items with “e” sort of caught me off guard, i kept trying with lmb, since i “learned” thats how you interact with items from the teddy bear. though i suppose that was needed since you could pick them both up at the same time. all in all great work, having check points and voice acting were both a big + for me.

dabs vehemently

i think could stare at the run and idle animations for days. beautiful stuff!

that’s really what i was going for! thanks for playing!

thanks for playing!

thanks a bunch!

ah man this really made my day. thanks for the kind words, i’ll definitely consider it!

had fun with this one, feels great! would’ve been cool with an incentive to catch the healing orbs even with full health, or something more to collect

yeah if i’d had the time i would’ve definitely made the intro dialogue faster and/or made it so you could skip the typing animation. thanks a lot for checking it out!

great idea, very cute, thematically one of my favorites.

beautiful, would love to see more

i hate myself for loving this 10/10. (also the dialogues break on larger screens)

the music rocks

great ambience and writing, made me smile
