You won the game! :)

Well ... someone ... did not fix the bug with the music not restarting. I don't know who that was.

Got me into the flow.

Really  liked it. The concept is awesome and the experience is unique.

My personal favourite.

Really enjoyed the graphics and choice of music!
It was  a bit hard to hit things. Not sure if I could hold the watering can at the same time. And did not figure out how to refill it. Only afterwards I read that Q would have dropped an item.

We definitely enjoyed playing it.

Ah so frustrating and very not cozy! ;D
I liked the controls and gameplay.

Very clever to use  a collection mechanic to make me explore the world.
The pick-up felt a little unforgiving. Maybe because the camera perspective made it hard to walk over items precisely.
The whole aesthetics were very pleasing and enjoyable.

Because a monkey!

10/10 would watch it again!

Simply awesome!

Simply awesome!

Cool idea. Good brain teaser!

209.

The music made it chill, but  the jump implementation made it a bit frustrating :)

Also, totally cute.

The 180 was totally fine for gameplay.

What disturbed us was the 90 degree taking two tiles forward. Hence the circling around the last grass :)

Credits to kiwalla for keeping an eye on the intended atmosphere :)

Thank you for playing it.

Agree that the raft feels  better with a 30° rotation limit, especially after collisions. But we couldn't get that back to working.

We both tried it and got a bit frustrated. It seemed impossible to take a turn after just the next tile. Resulting in many fuel-burning circles around the last grass.

But what-a-game. Great idea and a great experience.
This is one of those games, where you share the link with your friends to play it.

Where is you game on the scratch website?

Maybe you can fix the build by asking to be added back into the jam.

Also, the "Here is the link to play the game:" is pointing to "localhost" and will not work for anyone but you.

(1 edit)

Really love the concept. And agree that words, or a look-ahead, would make this more enjoyable. Right now, it is pretty hard.

Many, many times I pressed the wrong key. Simply because the pixel font made it hard to distinguish some of them: C/G O/Q
And then for some reason I lost 2 hearts. Because the following letter immediately registered.

Any encouragement, like 5-in-a-row, would also be appreciated.

PS: Love the art.

How can I play it, if all that spacebar does, is scrolling down the browser page?

This was fun :)

Easy to grasp. Nice challenge.

You win!

Well, we did not think anyone would get that far. Music fades out after 1:40.
Nice job ;D

We will keep the suggestion about additional audio in mind.
Thank you for playing, and your feedback.

Thank you very much. We appreciate your elaborate feedback.

Let me say that your observation is absolutely right: There is no way you can win this. But you likely made it as far as there is any content to see in the game, currently. So any easier, you would have entered the repetitiveness stage.

Furthermore, good point with the 'larger view'. We didn't think of that.
And it motivates putting more time into this game, actually.

Have a nice day!

I could not play it, because the camera was shaking non-stop :(

Realy cute charcter. Controls were fine. The jump sound gets ennoying verry quickly.

Great visuals. Shooting felt good.
Would have liked to restart quicker.

Visually appealing and good sound.

for jump'n'run I prefere w a s d as controlls over arrow keys. feels a bit counter intuitive

Simple but effective. A fun and engaging game

The idea was quite original and the visuals are cute. The combination of jump'n' run with short cuts and a strict time restraint didn't work that well for me.

Cool game!

Really nice atmosphere and aesthetics. The sound design was really good.

Cute game. Nice music, although the jump sound starts to get annoying :)

How would I be able to earn more gold, if each green slime takes a good amount of my health to kill?
The first few upgrades would use up all my gold, only to gain back a tiny bit of health.

This was fun :)
Very cute character, and pleasant music.

Please do not move the camera with the character during jumps.

Interesting idea. I didn't make it to the end (of the first level?) because it took very long to complete a terminal. With so many bots around, so far to travel, and so little time per each terminal.

When I completed one terminal, I really missed my first ability and did not understand the new, second ability :/

But the game's pressure kept me engaged :)

Loved the game design. What an original idea.

At first, not being able to zoom annoyed me greatly. But I didn't mind after a minute. Because the puzzle element was so cool.

Thank you!

Cute. Made it to screen 4, then dropped forever. Because there was no collider on the ride-side wall :D

The controls are a bit counter-intuitive. And took a while to learn. Plus the character's sliding after landing made it harder.

Had fun :)
