nice idea but I kept spinning around (maybe I'm just awful at the game) :) I enjoyed the music, nice effort!

nice music and art, the controls are a little hard to understand at the start but then I get the trick

Cool game! Music was really nice. I did have a problem of the raft rotating after hitting the side that did not seem intentional. Maybe you need to freeze the rotation of the raft.

Developer

Thank you for playing it.

Agree that the raft feels  better with a 30° rotation limit, especially after collisions. But we couldn't get that back to working.

This was solid - loved the vibes and the art style all blending to create a nice atmosphere perfect for a limited controls game - nice entry!

Developer

Credits to kiwalla for keeping an eye on the intended atmosphere :)

Good game! Everything seemed to work how it should, and I didn't spot any bugs. The only problem, which wasn't much of a problem, was that the music cut out for me after a while.

Developer

Well, we did not think anyone would get that far. Music fades out after 1:40.
Nice job ;D

Cool game, I turned myself sideways and propelled myself forward at maximum speed hehe

I think your use of graphics and music really succeeded in capturing the atmosphere of rafting down a woodland river nicely. I was especially impressed by the amount of graphical variety and detail. The innovative control scheme makes steering the raft and navigating the river a proper challenge, though I wish the movement of the raft would be a bit more responsive. I often found myself in a situation in which a sharp bend came up so suddenly that it was too late for me to react to.

Alternatively it may have been better to give the player a larger view of what's coming up ahead, so that they have the opportunity to preplan their actions. As such, it felt as if one has to memorise the river through trial and error in order to progress, but I think there could be potential in further emphasising the strategic aspects in navigation that your game already has!

Thank you very much. We appreciate your elaborate feedback.

Let me say that your observation is absolutely right: There is no way you can win this. But you likely made it as far as there is any content to see in the game, currently. So any easier, you would have entered the repetitiveness stage.

Furthermore, good point with the 'larger view'. We didn't think of that.
And it motivates putting more time into this game, actually.

Have a nice day!

It was really fun! The arts great and the music fits really well. I really like the limited controls as it really makes you want to use yourr inputs wisely, especially later in the game. The only thing I would add would be some sound effects like a background hum of the running water and some paddle sounds. Simple concept, excellent execution!

We will keep the suggestion about additional audio in mind.
Thank you for playing, and your feedback.

Nice game :)

Starts off pretty relaxing, but I’m soon oversteering and falling off that raft!
