Amazing. I’m super excited for it

I realize this is old and you may have dropped the project, but I’m planning to yoink out the Shapers dungeons from this material and would love to have more details on the Nadir!

This game really gets my creativity going, so thank you!

One small comment: a blank political alignment grid does not seem to show up in The Game of Change, as indicated on pg7

Do you happen to have print versions of this game? I’d love to buy one

Where can I get printable character sheets?

Hey, I’m struggling a little to understand how Clues are supposed to work. I assume they are information that is supposed to be fed to the players as they investigate. Should the GM be saying “this is a capital C clue” for these, for when it comes to the Theory Roll, or should the list of clues be played close to the chest?

Heya,

I don’t know if I will have more than 8 people or not, but is there any way to extend the roles? Do you have additional badass assassin roles anywhere? Should there be non-assassin extras mixed in?

Hey, I just realized that the playkit materials don’t seem like they’d print very easily - in the original PDF they are 4 page spreads with the 4th page being art, but in the playkit, it’s 3 pages and they start to overlap it you’d print the playbooks.

Could we get a playkit version with printable playbooks please?

Curious about the unifying idea of rolling multiple dice: in some 24XX games I believe a trait can also provide an additional help die.

Is there anything universal about using multiple dice when multiple skills/traits apply?

Are you planning to re-release this bundle in the near future?

I had the same question! What are these dice?

Just echoing everyone else that this game is dope, but can’t play the full version until it’s on Mac or Switch

Why is this more expensive than DTRPG?

Is says “here!” which I assume you intended to be a link somewhere?

What does ‘terrain’ look like during rest?

Hey Rose,

I purchased the first edition on Drivethru. Will wee see updates there, or is there any way to get that purchase transferred over here or something?

Any chance we’ll see this in print again? It doesn’t seem tk be at Exhalted anymore

I would definitely be interested.

PS congrats on having the best first name in the universe

Any plans to get this into print?

Well, that is unintentional. Will fix!

I don’t see the discussion forum enabled, so I hope it’s ok to provide feedback and questions in a comment.

A Chase:

  • it asks you to “throw”, but it never really explains what a throw is before this. One can infer it’s a coin toss, but it might be worth mentioning the lingo in Conducting the Chase.
  • Ending the Chase says “After a total of four challenges and admissions” - is that 4 of each, or 4 total?
  • If the hunter wins, are you supposed to fully resolve the outcome, or leave it as a cliffhanger?

An Oblique Discussion:

  • this specifically uses Scandal Tokens instead of coins used in other places. It might be better just to use coins here, saying they represent scandal.

Stealing Time Together:

  • a player may interrupt after the 3rd exchange, OR may choose to flip a coin after ANY exchange. I don’t know why, but it feels strange to have both of these rules at the same time

I didn’t do a side by side comparison with Firebrands or anything here, these are just notes taken on a full read-through.

Oh woah, someone read my silly little game. Thanks for the review!

I found this game a while back and come back and read it every so often.

Are you still working on it? I'd love to see it evolve

#1 is intentional! While the jam is about folklore monsters, I want this ultimately to be a game about "haha it's just superstition and not real" if someone wants to run it that way. That's *my* take on folklore :)

I should definitely put examples of phases in there! I'll work on rewording things for a v4

I gotta do something without words. Gypsy Jazz has been on my brain recently, but I often go back to the Shadow of the Colossus OST.

Jay, this is a wonderful progression of the best World of Legacy. I love what you've done with it.

With all stats starting at -1, does the game start fairly weak and chaotic? I can't envision how that'd play out.

I decided to submit this a little early and continually work on that to see how itch behaves. Feedback appreciated

it should have been set to one day: here's a new one - https://discord.gg/7HTbMc

Sure! I threw this up, but am not in marketing mode right now https://discord.gg/Q5kMEK

Maybe we can make something cool from it

Haha "but you have to interact with Reddit users" says it all.

The things coming out of itch.io these days are totally my jam and I want to know where you folks hand out - these forums seem active but they're not the hip-hop-happening space.

Where yall at?

I'd like to hear more about this lingo that was used (without needing to wade through actually listening to the podcast) - do you have any specific examples?

Curious: does this game use any mechanic like The King is Dead where you can ultimately "win"?

Ah, no. I thought we were just listing games

That depends on what the definition of "good" is

Flotsam!

Exactly - I can play any game with my best buds and we're fine because we know each other so we'll. Games with strangers, con games, for example, need safety tools because not everyone knows each other.

Content warnings may often suffice for heavily GMed games.

Nell, this game is amazing. I want to see more of this idea - particularly branding a colonizers mind with fear
