Very cool and unique concept, plus excellent polish all around. I agree with some others that it's much more natural to play on controller (and feels really good at that), but trickier on keyboard. Hard problem to solve! Nice job folks.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks so much I really appreciate you playing and enjoying!

Thanks very much!

Haha don't worry, I'm terrible at sliding puzzles too. Luckily that translated into me making ones that were hopefully not super frustrating to play. Thanks for your comment!

Thanks for that!

Great feedback and I think you're spot on all around. Appreciate you playing and enjoying!

Thanks for playing! I totally agree with your feedback - in fact a lot of that was stuff I did indeed want to address but time was a factor! Again really appreciate you playing.

Appreciated! That was a conscious decision to try to keep the player on their toes, though it's pretty subjective whether that worked well or not. Glad you liked the game in general and thanks for playing!

Thank you very much! So glad you enjoyed it.

Ha! Agree to disagree.

Much appreciated, thank you!

Thanks so much for playing!

Ah, too bad! Thanks for enjoying all the same!

Really great entry. Great music, stylish, funny too! I did clip through the terrain a couple times but it didn't cause any real headaches since the game loop is so quick and feels so good to play. Super fun!

Thanks very much! I’m so glad to have you play and enjoy.

Wow thank you so much! I’m humbled by all your nice words. Really really glad to have you enjoy it so much. Thank you for playing and commenting!

Haha, that’s great. I was curious whether anyone would go for it or not. I’m so stoked to hear everyone’s different experiences. Thanks for playing!

Ha, it's funny you saw the ghost that way. I always intended for him to be kind of an anti-hero, who might be devious but is really just lonely. In fact part of me wanted to explore him ultimately becoming part of a pair mechanic with the player but it proved too big a challenge for one week. Anyway thanks for playing and for your detailed thoughts!

I think an expanded version would definitely have save points! Thanks for playing!

Excellent art and UI! I found the controls tough but fair. Really nice entry overall.

Really like the creative / old-school approach to creating the sprites. Felt like a nostalgic arcade game. By the same token the old-school controls were pretty tough for me but I appreciate you doing something unique!

Haha that's a great comment. Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks so much! Appreciate you checking it out!

I appreciate you playing! Thanks for your kind comments.

Really neat game! Points for doing something unique.

Lol such a funny concept, the idea of a ghost just wailing on people. Nice game!

Cool concept! It was fun to think about how you achieved some of the different UI interactions through the engine.

I like the variety of little challenges in the gameplay. Thought there could be a little more clarity in prompting the player on some of the controls etc. since I found myself unsure of how to perform certain tasks the first time. But nice overall!

Thanks for giving it a go!

Fun idea for the theme! And the logic gate stuff speaks to me in a big way. I ended up feeling like the puzzle element became a little more like guesswork, but I still enjoyed.

Ooh this is slick! The gameplay felt nice and smooth and satisfying and the UI is very stylish. It was sometimes a little hard to tell if a grapple would connect with a surface off-screen or not, but overall this plays very nicely. One of my favorites so far!

The ghost is very cute. I like that it just wants to be alone and at peace - relatable! Overall the game was short but sweet and you did the sound and controls well.

I really like the aesthetics and atmosphere of this - it inspires a feeling of mystery that I think is great. I did feel like I was wandering a little bit without direction for some of it, and the player hitbox could be a little more forgiving so navigating tight areas is a bit easier. But I had fun! Nice submission.

Fun concept and I like the story you've mixed into it. I think reducing the player's speed a bit would help the shooting be a bit more accurate, and it would be cool to see more enemies and variation. But this is a solid foundation!

A nice little spire-like with some slick elements. Could see this being a bit addictive especially with more variations in mechanics!

Really like the minimalist aesthetics and especially the color palette. Creative abilities as well. I do echo other's sentiments that the controls are a bit difficult/floaty, but I think this is a cool one overall! Edit: wanted to mention the music is nice too!

Thank you for playing! Great feedback.

One of my favorites in the jam so far! Really nice pixel art and fun mechanics. Plus the word Ectoplasmigator is amazing.

Agree with the feeling that the player could move faster, but enjoyable still! Nice one.
