This game totally rocks. I wish it had more accessibility settings.
This is a really polished game - everything fits so well together. Good job!
Thanks for playing!
ace_of_4s is back with another BANGER! I loved Phixer and Fantom and love this game too. So stylish, so well introduced, so beautiful. The only thing, and I mean the ONLY thing I can say needs improvement is the story. It still gave the game a reason to exist though, which is all a video game story really needs. All around excellent work my guy, keep it up.
Thanks so much I really appreciate you playing and enjoying!
The game looks, feels and sounds great! I think you take this project and run with it all the way to a full release! I personally struggled with the mechanics pretty quickly and got myself stuck lol. But I can already see the project is high quality and could really go far! Keep going!
Thanks very much!
Okay, the first time I zapped myself on one of the puzzle levels and got respawned inside a pit. Finished the second time.
This game oozes style. Positively dripping with it. Well done.
Why did it have to be sliding block puzzles though? I'm terrible at those! I think I actually finished every puzzle by sliding blocks randomly back and forth while firing the laser until I got lucky with a random bounce tickling the tower for a microsecond - if you want to prevent that sort of solution, maybe have the towers require a second of continuous fire or so? Or maybe don't, for people like me...
Haha don't worry, I'm terrible at sliding puzzles too. Luckily that translated into me making ones that were hopefully not super frustrating to play. Thanks for your comment!
So impressive!!! I especially love the background music!
Thanks for that!
Great game and well executed. Almost fully complete, imho, just needs a few more ambient noises and/or sound effects like walking and it'd be great! I could see this being a full complete game on Itch with tons of levels and more puzzle mechanics.
- Damaging enemy sfx.
- Hint that you can hold down the laser AND then switch with Q to move mirrors: making the puzzles somewhat easier.
- Dying and killing yourself by lasers sfx.
- No play again or back to main scene button at the end.
+ Camera shake
The last puzzle was easier than the others for some reason. I loved the final boss. A little anti-climatic after you defeat it but that's fine. Great job!
Great feedback and I think you're spot on all around. Appreciate you playing and enjoying!
Dang, this was nice! The art, music, mechanics, all of it was so good! I love balancing out combat and puzzles, I could easily play another 40hrs of this. My only two suggestions are gamepad support, and opening the door had a stronger visual effect (like an animation, maybe some dust swirls). You already have a great audio cue, but I kept expecting to have to "full up" the reactors so that's where my attention was and it took a beat to realize a path opened. Again, this is super duper minor and not hard to figure out, it's like complaining about the stitching on the napkin at a michellin star restaurant. Would love to see more of this, keep it up!
Thanks for playing! I totally agree with your feedback - in fact a lot of that was stuff I did indeed want to address but time was a factor! Again really appreciate you playing.
