I wrote a couple tech discussion logs about code I wrote for my project others might find useful. Maybe the mods thought they weren't very useful. I don't think I've made a "major update or launch" post. At least not on purpose. But  It's hard to tell which my posts are those kind since it doesn't show up on your list of devlogs. You have to click into each of them to find out.

In any case, absent any official...er response, this seems likely. A post that was mis-categorized and it tripped in the queue. Funny enough I plan to publish my first legitimate major update tonight. But I'm putting more effort into that one. Hopefully, it does the trick.

Up until a couple days ago, my devlogs appeared in the public Devlog page (https://itch.io/devlogs). I would get decent views for a new game. Now my devlogs do not appear on that page. Even if I look at the page from incognito mode. I have all the options to the most public, most open settings. Further, I did not change such settings since I published the game. Far as I know, I didn't get a single up or down vote on anything I've posted. The devlogs just don't appear, even if I check a few moments (or minutes, or hours, or days) after posting. I can't imagine people are waiting to instantly downvote the articles of a barely two-weeks old game who generally posts devlogs in the middle of the night. Even if they were, I, the only person who knows when I post such things, should be able to catch a glimpse of the devlog on the public page before it gets such targeting. 

Something has triggered my devlogs not showing up and it wasn't me. I just want to know why.

I checked every setting for both the game and my account. It's all public and "published", including the devlogs. Somehow people are still seeing the posts as the view count goes up over time. But it used to go up rather quickly. And, more importantly, show up in the public devlog list. That's why I use the word "shadowbanned" in the title. It's like the articles are being held back and deliberately hidden from the public devlog list for some reason. It's just weird.

I looked and everything has the green Published tag. They just don't show up on the devlogs anymore. I was getting decent views, now very few. It's weird.

I second this. Finish the game as is, then make the sequel or another game in something else if you like. The game can get an "HD remaster" later, but now it's more important to complete it.

We're using the same free unity asset pack for the UI windows, haha.

They aren't showing up in the devlogs list at all. I can't imagine they were offensive. Kind of kills the point of writing them if they can't be seen by anyone.

What's satire? When will you fully commit to making the world a better place by not eating? That's the end game of removing minor, personal discomforts. I await your visionary first step with fervent desire. Please live stream your magnificent attempt to make the world a better place. Be a shining beacon of humanity for all to see. Encourage others by your selfless actions of not eating for the greater good so that no one will ever be downvoted at all for any reason.

I say we also remove the upvote button. I feel particularly bad when I see other people getting more upvotes than me.

We should also get rid of analytics. Knowing I'm not getting millions of views on my week-old game here is driving me to drink.

Going further in the interest of protecting people's feelings, we should remove comments since any criticism against one's opinion is its own kind of downvote. You should delete this post because it is a criticism against itch.io and that hurt their feelings.

Keeping in the spirit of protecting people, we should ban social media. Seeing other people having more followers and doing things I can't makes me feel down. That can't be allowed. No one should feel any sort of negativity for any reason. Let alone during a voluntary, public activity using third-party software online.

Pushing onward to the utopia of perpetual happiness, we should ban friends. Some people have more friends than I do and therefore might be happier than I am. Such sinful decadence.

While we're cleaning up society to minimize the downsides of one's own choices, let's shoot everyone in the leg. There are some people in the world who have been hurt by one thing or the other. Why should some go on through life with two legs while there are people with one or no legs? It's downright greedy to not suffer the whims of fate. So let's push her hand and just put a cap in us all.

And finally, let's all stop eating. There are people who can't taste and watching us enjoy food is the ultimate downvote. I expect everyone reading this, particularly Suspense Comix, the true visionary who thought up the first step in our new future. To be the first in line to stop eating and show us all the way to a more perfect union.

My mother's downvote has followed me my entire life. Don't mock my pain! Look at what she makes me wear even as an adult! Disgraceful.

Because I was downvoted by my mom when I was born and it has been a Scarlet Letter on my entire existence. Back then we didn't have Keyboard Warriors such as yourself to fight for my cause. I would go to lawyers to see about suing my mom for having an opinion but no one would take my case. They just laughed at me. Their verbal downvotes furthered my downward spiral until I hit rock bottom. Which was even more worse because it was like a downvote from life itself. 

If your idea can't withstand the biting criticism of a handful of downward-pointing pixels. It's not a very good idea.

I'm disappointed, saddened, and those other negative feelings, that I can't downvote this thread.

Had this idea for some time. Finally had the time to piece together a working concept with free unity assets. Will keep working until the online level editor is working. Then add some story. And finally, upgrade the graphics and UI. In the meantime, there's a lot of balancing to do while adding the extra towers, skills, and monsters. I released this to get it out the door to move on to the next stage. 

There's a nice little story about a princess trapped in a castle using a strange magical box to help her kingdom's army against the hordes. She's the "match 3" in the game, so to speak. But I'll get more into that later after the gameplay is settled.
