I got on the train a bit too late with game making and went for the easiest engine possible using RPG Maker to make a game. It was a small idea that I had for years. Now I'm well in to a number years working on a game. I'm beat on the idea that I need to port the game to another engine so It has more of a chance to be played by more people.
But then it might not make a difference. If I take the time to re-create everything then it will take longer to finish what I started. I've started having a go with using Unity and I see allot of promise, but I also see I'll need to spend more money buying assets and engines, it's such a step up that I'll need to learn allot more. My options are open on what I should do, it's just a messy situation.
What would you guys do? :/
