I had this same problem myself, and I tried deleting the global save file, in case it was using data from an old version.
It worked, but it also made the pre-set save files unusable.
It was no big issue for me, as I have a strange habit of dropping games after a while and starting over from the beginning, but I'm sure I'm in the minority.

Some of you might have already experienced this with other programs and Norton, but...
Before you download, turn off Download Intelligence (Device Security-Open, Settings, Intrusion and Download Protection) and after it's download, right-click, select Norton Security, File Insight, then select Trust Now.
If you don't, Norton will delete the .exe due to not trusting it. It took me a while to figure that out.
On the uncensored 0.9.3.1u version, my computer wouldn't allow me to extract all files and stated the folder was empty.
When I double-clicked on the ZIP folder, I was able to extract almost all of the files from there, but there was a data error on D-DreamZ2.rpgmvp.
I downloaded and extracted version 0.9.3, then copied the files from 0.9.3.1u and replaced the ones that were the same.
The game was still censored, so I tried deleting all the files and downloading only the 0.9.3.1u files. When I did so, the game wouldn't open, and I received a message saying the files had been moved or deleted.
As far as I can tell, there seems to be no way to play the game uncensored.
