I use it for coding, a sounding board for ideas, and sometimes immediate feedback when I'm stuck. I don't use it to write for me, but it's also not something I felt I needed to disclose because I don't think my use is being dishonest.

I'm intrigued by what you've shared so far and am looking forward to your updates!
I wanted to share Idrelle Games' (the author of Wayfarer) Tumblr page. There are a lot of tutorials there that helped me immensely while learning Twine. I don't see anything wrong with your work, but I thought you might find it useful. 😊
Good luck!
Thank you for reading! I'm glad you're enjoying it overall. Regarding your issues:
- While I do want to add images to Codex entries, this won't be for awhile. I've yet to decide if I want to do the art myself or save for an artist.
- There is a downloadable version available, but if you're unable to see it then it may be a limitation on itch.io's mobile site.
- I've received reports for save issues on mobile, which seem to stem from certain browsers. Unfortunately, there's nothing I can really do on my end. I've only tested Firefox and Google Chrome, without issue on either, but I'll quote a comment further down:
- "For now Opera GX seems to completely not work. Google/Chrome mostly seems fine, but saving does sometimes bug (I'm not sure what the condition for it is) and Kiwi Browser and Brave work the best."
I hope this all helps!
Hey everyone. First, let's keep things constructive. I do appreciate the suggestions.
You are correct that this is a rather large request. All of my characters are planned out already, and I have no plans to make new ones. As Redgiga26 mentioned, there are complexities in character design. Creating characters that are not only relatable but respectful is important to me. When I create a character, I develop them as their own person and then imagine what they look like. If my vision doesn't align with what everyone wants, what can I say?
I also want to clarify that not everyone is buffed up: Gabriel and Leese, sure — they're knights who underwent physical training. Lyth, Admos, and Xiaowen are on the slender side, with one of them being pretty tall. If they're still not to your liking, then there's not much more I can do.
While I'm not able to cater to every individual preference, I have been considering letting players choose the heights of certain ROs because that's a relatively small adjustment that doesn't compromise my vision — it's something I discussed at some point. However, it's the only thing I'm willing to do at the moment.
Thank you for your understanding!
Thank you for reading! I understand your concern completely. Since I answered this previously, I'll share again:
I'm sorry if it wasn't clear: the MC is almost 27, and the possible relationship with Harus started 3 years ago. If you're concerned about grooming, this was not the case. The dynamics between Harus and the MC will be explored, but it's important to note that nothing occurred until the MC was of age and initiated it themselves.
I hope this clears things up, and I'll try to word it more clearly in the story as well!
Hi, sorry for the late response and I'm sorry you're having this issue. Are the saves not being remembered each session?
They are working fine for me. If you're able to, could you try a different browser and see if that helps? Additionally, make sure your browser allows cookies and has local storage enabled. If you happen to be using incognito or private browsing mode, these can also prevent saves.
Let me know if that helps, or if you're still experiencing issues!
First, I'm sorry for the late reply. Thank you for your kind words and for reading!
I appreciate you bringing the word choice to my attention. Inclusivity is very important to me, and I certainly didn't intend to cause any discomfort. In my effort to find less abrasive words, I realize now that I wasn't fully considering the words I chose, and I'm very sorry for that. I was scattered through things and not thinking clearly on this. I will go back and revise those scenes to use more neutral terms.
Thank you for your feedback! I've been exploring various improvements and will definitely keep your suggestions in mind.
Regarding character interactions:
- Hestia: You don't officially meet Hestia until Chapter 2, which might explain why interactions with her feel less frequent.
- Ly: Interactions with Ly might seem more frequent due to specific choices, like sleeping in their room, which leads to more time with them.
Each character is unique, resulting in varied interactions with the MC. Chapter 3 Part Two will provide more time with recently introduced characters, while others are occupied with their own matters to balance interactions. Improvements are still ongoing, however, so I will look into how I can better these things as well.
I'm so sorry for the confusion! A few weeks ago, I posted an application and selected a handful of testers at random from the applicants. This won’t be the last test I conduct, so there will be more opportunities in the future. I’ll make sure to provide clearer information about the process next time. Thank you for your understanding!
I currently do not have a deadline. I'm actually running a little behind schedule due to some unusually busy days last week that slowed my groove a bit T.T
I'll probably leave the application open even after testing starts, just in case I need more people. So feel free to apply whenever you're ready!
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the game so far.
Regarding your question, it's something I've given thought to, but mostly in the context of poly routes. I've been contemplating both triangle and V poly dynamics, with an emphasis on romance rather than casual flings.
As for outside these poly-routes, I can give it some thought for certain characters. I think this sort of dynamic might be feasible, but my main concern is complexity at the moment.
Once I get the new systems ironed out, I can look at these things with a better understanding of what I can or can't do. Regardless, I appreciate the question, and feel free to share any ideas. I appreciate it!
Sorry for the late response! If the problem is still persisting, I recommend trying the following steps:
- Clear your browser cache and cookies.
- Try using a different browser.
- Make sure your browser is up to date.
- Disable any browser extensions or plugins that might be interfering.
- Restart your device and try again.
These steps usually resolve most issues. If you continue to experience problems, please let me know. Thank you for your patience!
Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate your patience with Lea's story arc. I know that the slow burn can be frustrating at times, especially if handled improperly — to which I think I could have handled it a little better here.
I'm planning to redo most of Lea's end scenes in this part, and I'll work on incorporating more choices to enhance the interaction. I'm sorry it felt lacking, and I hope the future updates will make it feel less like "running into a wall." ^^;
I'm glad to hear you like it as it currently stands. My aim is to keep it as much intact as it is, but to try to add more depth. However, based on all the feedback I've received (yours included), I'll likely keep it as it is for now and try a new approach, though this will likely be in a later update.
Thank you for reading, and I appreciate your input!
It definitely is! I apologize for the delay — some personal issues temporarily halted all my projects a few months ago. Currently, I'm heavily focused on revising Within Your Eyes. However, I have completed the detailed timeline for Chapter 2 for this story, and once I release this big update for WYE, I'll start the drafting phase. Thank you so much for your patience and support!
Thank you for your feedback! To address your question: the guilt bar was initially designed to represent the MC's internal conflict over deception and the residual guilt from past actions. When I first implemented this mechanic, my grasp of game mechanics was pretty basic, and as you and others have pointed out, self-preservation might not necessarily warrant guilt.
In designing this, I believe I was primarily focused on the implications of lying rather than the act of self-preservation itself. I hope this clarifies my initial intent.
Based on the feedback I've received, I'll probably leave the guilt system it as it is for now. However, your suggestion of a trust system is particularly intriguing — it has sparked a "Why didn't I think of that?" moment for me, and I'd love to explore it further.
I greatly appreciate your comment and the inspiration you've given!
Thank you for your feedback!
I'm actually considering adding an option to make relationship impact visibility customizable at the start of the game. Players would be able to choose from:
- Percentage Bar — As it is currently.
- Gradual Text Updates — Replaces the percentage bar. Changes text after reaching certain point thresholds.
- None — For those who prefer a more intuitive experience.
I hope these options will accommodate various preferences. I think I'll be keeping the 'thoughts and moods' separate from this, however.
Oh, I'm sorry for any confusion again, lol! To clarify, I'm not planning to remove that element — I love it too! I’m just looking at ways to introduce these relationships more smoothly in the story. I want to expand on things a bit for each of them, and... I’m also considering setting it up to make Lee work for Ly in a potential 4th poly route in the future. My goal is to enhance, not rewrite them completely!
Personally, I adore all my characters, but I'm glad to know Lee is so loved! Your kind words truly mean a lot — thank you!
Thank you for reaching out! I apologize for any confusion. In this storyline, the relationship between Leese/Lea and Gabriel is indeed designed to start with some initial jealousy. I aimed to explore a relationship that evolves from a sort of love triangle dynamic, growing into something deeper over time as they get to know each other better.
However, I acknowledge there's room for improvement to make this progression feel more natural and cohesive. I am currently redoing the poly routes and have already started on some scenes. I'm aiming to have these revisions included in the next update, or at the latest, the one following that. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding!
Thank you so much for sharing! I'm honored you find the portrayals cathartic. I try to ensure such themes resonate on a deeper level. While I don't want to spoil anything, I hope the story unfolds in a way that makes the journey to recovery, or not, fulfilling.
Also, I absolutely love your raven's name! ♥
Thank you for playing and for your incredible support!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m doing much better now. While personal matters were indeed a factor, I can’t deny that those self-imposed deadlines also played a role. It took tremendous effort, but I’ve managed to shift my mindset about them. Your support means a lot to me and I promise I'm taking good care of myself. I can't wait to share all the things I've been working on! ♥
