Hey man, thank you for the very kind words!

For the purpose of the jam, maybe I should have let every port allow upgrades, but in the capital's shop on Jerico you can press tab to enter the shipyard, where you can buy upgrades.

Glad you liked the game! There's a lot of options to go further with this, and we're currently consolidating them. More islands are a must, and I would love to see some island development.

Better luck next time, boys!

I can't play the game as the .pck-file seems to be missing :'(

You can sprint with shift :)

This is my favorite comic book that is also a game that is about a gorilla taking some neutron enhancing vaping liquid!

I've never seen such a great and brief summary of The Office US! :D The bouncy speech bubbles at the end were a nice touch.

Would have loved to see more levels but really digging the polish and controls. It's minimal but very crisp.

You may need to set the game as executable using

chmod +x ./arryworld

And then you can run it by either double clicking or running
./arryworld

Cleared it in 69 moves :smirk:.

I enjoyed it! It works well. The books with the little snot/slime was a fun setting. For me the arm could have been faster, and it would have been nice if the rotation restarted not at the top but in the angle you fired the arm :), would allow for smoother traversal of the levels.

Really stressy when the fox is right behind you and the next star is on the right of the screen! I enjoyed it, but the button flip was an unfortunate first death... Very cute bunny, I was thinking of having a jetpack on when you're going up and the jetpack off when going down, even though it makes no sense as there is no gravity in space :D

That was awesome! Got 20 layers as my biggest sandwich. Really love how unwieldy it gets once you have more than 15 layers.

Additionally, nice polish with the animations and sound effects when picking up unneeded food, and the background changing color was a nice touch as well. Was fun!

Hey Wei, thank you so much for the kind words! Your comment made my day :)

Really liked the atmosphere and the floating texts.  The floaty movement was less fun, I feel like  movement without acceleration might be a lot more responsive.

Awesome! There's definitely some bugs and I'd have liked the piercing places to be aligned more strategically. The small angle skewed my plans! A way to make it faster would have been nice too.

Thanks! I think :D

Hey Mark, thanks for the feedback!

Were you able to complete the game with the extra information?

And most importantly, were you able to learn something about potatoes?

This was actually fun! But I find the floaty physics in the controls make it less than it could be if the controls were tighter, making it ultimately frustrating in harder segments. Still, great execution  of your concept! Loved the different types of blocks and especially the wall jumpy ones.

Short and sweet, indeed like a tutorial level but I feel it fits the scope here to show what you did. The small text parts in between were really nice, obvious yet not too hand-holding.

I also found this pretty hard, just to keep track of everything that's going on. Also, having to manually open the doors seems unnecessary to me. But, it's  really original and am glad I played it :).

We have a game named Arry World so I had to play this! :D

Really fun, wish it lasted longer :). Great to see more Godot entries.

I think it was okay, but it has a lot of potential for you to make this more fun. I think making the boxes not just go faster and spawn on the sides after each other, but keeping the speed constant but increasing the amount of boxes could almost make this a rhythm game. A highscore would also be nice.

Getting errors as soon as I hit a wall or enter the grey zone. But yes, at least you tried :D don't give up, work on your skills in the meantime and I know next time you'll be able to finish something! My first jams were a total mess as well.

For future reference: It would be better if you make more with Godot to zip these two files and provide the zip as a Windows executable.

For anyone stuck on the last stage, I forgot to clean up the pattern in the cave. It's actually:

Amazing guys! What a thrill!

Thanks man! :D

Hey man, don't forget to set it as a LD entry! Makes it easy to go back and rate it :)

Thanks! You too, I'm sure one day you'll sell a game!
