Hi, is this on the current version? I fixed something like this not long ago... if not, any way you could send me the save?

Wow, this is one of the kindest reviews I've ever gotten. Thanks so much for taking the time to write your thoughts!
The erotic games I like the best are ones that take place in a relatively grounded world. It's all about context for me... kinky scenes in a world where everything is sex-crazed madness all the time anyway just don't hit the same as they would in a world where everybody is otherwise fairly rational and realistic. When I was designing the game, putting the wilder scenes in the context of a pretty grounded life sim sandbox just seemed like the thing to do to get the erotic stuff to stand out.
I'm glad you haven't found any grammar errors! I do make mistakes but I try to catch them. :) Before this game my main "line of work" was writing erotica, so mostly it's just a lot of practice. Bugs certainly do happen though!
Please don't feel bad about not being able to offer monetary support. I'm very grateful and appreciative of the people who choose to support me in that way — I literally couldn't be doing this without them — but I know very, very well what it's like to be in a position where there just isn't anything to spare. I don't expect anybody to put themselves in a bad position just to help me, but I truly do appreciate the thought. Spreading the word about the game is also an enormous help!
The Harasser and Admirer will both get large revisions in the upcoming major update (0.5). I have plans for the roommate and their partner too... I don't think they'll make it in right away but probably in an immediate followup (say, 0.5.1). I hope you'll like the direction they go in!
Windows Defender seems to be intermittently flagging the last couple of updates for a subset of people. It's a false positive (you can upload the file to https://virusscan.jotti.org or https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/upload to verify), but in the meantime I've rolled back to the previous version until we can figure out what's tripping it.
Okay, thanks. Looks like this is an incompatibility between the SugarCube update we applied and the itch app, which is using a 2018 Javascript standard. We can address it on our end, I'll just have to consult with majou who maintains our SugarCube mod, so it'll probably be later today or tomorrow.
You could also try the beta/dev version of the itch app which is on a newer Javascript standard:
First ensure that "Allow NPC Customization" is checked under content options. Then, once you at least know an NPC's name, you'll get a link to customize their appearance when you click their name and view them.
Also, you can globally modify the sizes of bits in world generation options, but this requires starting a new game.
Hi there. The older version of the app had an experimental and pretty unpolished export function, but it should work after a fashion. This is what the readme says:
1. Press the "Save to disk" option (no message will popup fyi)
2. To find the .save, you need to go access the folder /Android/data/app.courseoftemptation.lewd
3. You need a special file manager, x-plore from Play Store does the job well. As long as your file manager can request for SPECIAL PERMISSION access, you can use any type.
Hey there, thanks for the comment and the kind words!
I couldn't reproduce the BFF roommate bug, but given you have an example right there, clearly it can happen. I put in a failsafe that would give Ashley Stout no roommate in that case.
CollegeCams bug: fixed
A lot of the inconsistency issues just require more writing and more branching paths, or perhaps require picking NPCs that better fit the tone of the event. Most of the events like this were some of the very first ever written, and I've been gradually going through and fixing them up as the tone of the game becomes more settled. For the lounge video game bets, as a quick fix I'll change it to prefer partners who better suit the awkward circumstances.
The Arcade needs another pass sometime — throwing games, yes, but also giving the player the other side of things, where sometimes it'll be the NPC who insists on rolling over to the next day instead of just paying out, or giving you the option to punish them.
I agree about giving the other side of some of these events — I intend to do that, it's just a matter of finding the right time to prioritize writing the new events.
I like the idea of a "sex scoring" system, something that affects their lust or your reputation as a lover.
There are inclinations for oral and anal preferences and some NPCs do have these. It's generally reflected in what they choose to do, though if the player takes the lead, there probably isn't much visible difference right now.
There are some random events in the restroom, but mostly pretty lowkey. There's an entry about them on the bounty board on the repo, so we'll certainly be adding more sooner or later.
Mid-encounter events (like somebody walking in on you) are something I really want to do at some point. Currently it requires refactoring some things before I can do it, but that's not insurmountable. I have several ideas where this would come in handy.
There are plans for a glory hole! At least one, probably in the porn shop. I think a contributor started writing some events for this so I'll have to see where they are with that.
Anyway, thanks again for your comment! This week I'm working on just misc polish things, so I might come back to this comment and address some more of these things sooner rather than later, but in the meantime, those bugs at least should be fixed for the next update.
Nothing in particular :) The random world seeds are from a pool of completely random words... I don't even remember how I generated it, lol. The seed just gives a starting point for world generation, so aside from the special seeds, it'll just change NPC's names and maybe swap genders (depending on your other settings)
It's being made a little easier in today's update with some lower prereqs for some of the BFF events. For the quad party, it's just a matter of building party popularity, which can be helped along by some events but is also built up just by attending, so the "main event" will inevitably fire sooner or later.
Now that the game is progressing, I am thinking about alternate paths to change the relationship with the BFF, though I don't really have any specific ideas yet.
