Hey! I recently stumbled upon Pixel Composer and it seems like such a cool tool!

Made this video to talk about it and hopefully get more people to discover it as well:

Thanks for making this, I’m looking forward to seeing it progress into a full release!

Aw man, that’s awesome! :D

Thanks! I’ll update the font soon to include the missing character :)

Getting the same issue! I’m on macOS 13.3 on Apple Silicon (M1)

Hey all!

Ever wanted to actually be credited as “idea guy” in an indie game? NOW’S YOUR CHANCE!

In this new devlog series, every single gamdev decision I make is voted on by the audience!

Watch the video and then join us on Discord to vote!

I won?

Thank you so much! I did my best to inject personality into it and I'm really glad you enjoyed it :)

This was great! I had a lot of fun playing through it, the dialogue was good, the story was engaging. Nice work overall!

"PortalRipOffButNo" xD

I don't know why I love this so much. There isn't much to it, but despite that, you've managed to create engaging characters, an engaging world, and a really visually pleasing aesthetic. Nice work! (That "e" at the end is so random lol)

It's definitely strange to see my name pop up in one of these questions :P

But overall, it's good! I got 7/7 for the first quiz, but 12/14 in the second one.

Man, this was really, really good. I'm in the same boat as Yanniboi in regards to thinking that maybe there was something more to see when the colours are inverted, but it was great nonetheless! Excellent work :)

Update: I've managed to compile it! :D

This is me letting you know that I've managed to upload a working version! :P

Update: I managed to get it to compile, but only for desktop. Feel free to check it out again! :)

Thank you! Glad you did! There's so much more I wanted to do with it, but I didn't have enough time :(

I plan on working on it some more after GDKO, so keep an eye out for that! :)

I thought that the hand would be okay because it's a UI element since it's your cursor. *shrug*

Thanks for playing/rating! :)

Thank you! I'll upload it to itch if I manage to compile it later down the line!

It's from me lol

Thank you so much!

And that camera feedback makes sense to me as well.

It worked well when all you did was move around freely, but now that you need to strategise, the camera has to take that into consideration and be updated to allow for that.

The high score definitely increased engagement! I already played it a whole bunch after Round 1, so the high score was just an excuse for me to play it a bunch more haha!

I really want to try the "SPORT" addition, but I can't even make it out of part 1 to get there :(

Can't rate the game because of this, unfortunately, but if you post a separate version with just Part 2 so I (and others who can't make it past Part 1) can try, then I'll come back and rate! Sorry :/

Thanks! And noted! If a future round allows it, I'll take that opportunity to improve the controls and maybe add mouse control as an option :)

Haha, so glad you enjoyed it! That's a pretty good score :D

Thanks for the feedback! Glad it managed to keep your attention for a while at least!

I'll try to tighten and improve the controls a bit more in the next iteration then :P

Thank you so much! :D

Haha, thanks!

Thanks! Glad you think so! :)

I watched the archived stream and I'm glad you had fun with it!

Thank you so much for the feedback, suggestions, and gameplay ideas! :D

Aw man, thank you so much! I'm really glad you had fun with it :)

Haha, thanks!

(You should see my other Monkey Ball-related fever dream, if that's something you're into xD)

This is awesome! Great work :)

Thank you! :D

Thanks! :D

(1 edit)

Thanks! I’ll be refining the controls in future iterations :P

Haha, you’re my biggest fan :P

Thank you! :)

Oops! I didn’t have much time to extensively test it, haha!

Either way, it’s just to showcase the ability so I guess it doesn’t really matter lol

Yes lol

Aw man, totally!

Haha, thank you!
