I'm so glad you were able to submit because this was a really cool way to present branching dialogue options. I like how well thought out things were, like a timer on the decision points and the additional string type for going back with a decision.
For the artless challenge you still managed to add so much charm and personality to your UI. I really like what you put together for this task. Well done.
Thank you so much! I did my best to inject personality into it and I'm really glad you enjoyed it :)
This is a really fun mechanic for choose your own adventure stories! Really enjoyed this one :D
Thank you! Glad you did! There's so much more I wanted to do with it, but I didn't have enough time :(
I plan on working on it some more after GDKO, so keep an eye out for that! :)
I like how you connect the text with ropey lines that you can drag. I do feel that the hand is artwork but otherwise a good story and an interesting way of moving through it. Glad to have gotten to see it. p.s. I updated my rating
I thought that the hand would be okay because it's a UI element since it's your cursor. *shrug*
Thanks for playing/rating! :)
Yeah of course, that should be perfectly fine, forgot that was allowed. I'll add a star back on for that
Look forward to seeing what you created in this round when you figure out how to configure your game.
The game doesn't work. Itch.io just gives this error "⚠️ Can't figure out why this isn't compiling. Sorry :(".
Edit:
idk if the message is from itch or from you.
It's from me lol
Okay lol.
Update: I managed to get it to compile, but only for desktop. Feel free to check it out again! :)
Man I was really looking forward to seeing what you did this round, your other entries were so good! Hope you get it to work soon
Thank you! I'll upload it to itch if I manage to compile it later down the line!
Update: I've managed to compile it! :D
Oh now, let me know if you managed to upload a working version :(
This is me letting you know that I've managed to upload a working version! :P
