Added the link. Thank you for the suggestion :)

Hey, I'm curious to know which bugs your referring to (if you can remember).

And the difficulty is definitely strange. I have some people saying the "guilt free" upgrade is overpowered and others saying its all too difficult.

Ha! I had this same idea during development. The fish would get bigger the more it ate and then it could jump out of the water and eat the fishers above. But knew there would be no time to implement it.

I also had a joke idea for a mini game where you could find a secret room somehow wherein the fish would miraculously pull out a fishing rod and start fishing its own kind, (creating a fishing mini-game inside of a fishing mini-game inspired game). This would have also fit the roles reversed theme lmao.

Really fun

Yeah, I get that.  You went all that way just to get to... pretty much nothing lol. I had planned a narrative where you were trying to swim towards your fish family and at the end you would finally meet up with them, but didn't have enough time to add that for the jam.

Pretty good. The game must be played at full screen since it doesn't scale down and hence you cant see the incoming blocks. Pretty sure itch has a "launch in full screen" option where you upload the HTML file. I suggest choosing that option, but not too big of a deal.

Fun game, wish it had some sounds.

Amazing

Fun but a little too unforgiving. Dying means you have to restart from the beginning, which is fine, but because the character moves so slow, it's super tedious to go back and scare all the people again. Would have been nice to have a sprint button.

Minor notes: would be nice if there was a count for how many people you scared. Maybe the lights should have been a little transparent. Camera is a little wonky but that's not that big of a deal. The 3D models for the characters look cool.

Also, I did not realize you could go through walls until like 4 minutes in lol.

Got 5 taxis! Cool game. Nice presentation. Wish there was music after you picked the taxi up, not just when you were trying to get to it.

Cool idea. Most of the gameplay ends up just being waiting around in the beginning of the levels.

Great mechanic and really fun submission to the jam. Wish there was some remapping option because I hate y to shoot. I love the character too: Looks like you took some inspiration from Journey? Really amazing work.

Wish the game play was a bit deeper. However, the music and the art are great and it's a fun little game.

Beautiful art and audio. Controls feel great. I mostly just ran past all the enemies when I realized there was a timer though lol.

Glorious jump king clone. Well done on the art and audio. I gave up because this is just as hard as jump king is :)

Hey thanks for playing the game. Wow, I just realized how bad that red filter is now. I rushed that whole 3rd level today and didn't have much time to play it myself. But thanks for the kind words. I will definitely improve for the next jam!

Gilbert has grabbed me and is not letting go: https://streamable.com/gu4ia8

I can't quit out of the game either since the menu doesn't pop up. Needed to alt+f4.

Art look really pretty! Making it so you have to simultaneously dodge the enemies and collect hearts to regain health resulted in a fairly engaging experience imo. Not bad :)

Really nice. It's cool how you made the enemies come really fast but also added long delays between the enemies. It made it suspenseful not knowing when they were going to come, and not knowing exactly where I would have to dodge until the very last moment! Very engaging imo.
