Nice

I really like the idea of the game. Turns out I'm choosing poorly when it comes to elements to add.

I just made a hit game in 5 minutes. Think I'm gonna move from Godot to this one!

That's was super fun and original! And the stuff the pop-up and bot detector is a very cool touch! Great job

Oh boy I added in true free-web-fashion popups and bot detection - that was a mistake^^

Hi . We really liked Making the game. Here's a video we made about it and other games in the jam. Your game is in the thumbnail too. It's an excellent game. If you'd like to watch it

Great presentation, great writing, on theme, doesn't last too long, has a poison swamp.  All ingredients for the perfect game.

Oh my goodness this is amazing! The ending bit made me chuckle out loud!

I love that you made it so that a finished game wouldn't have all the possible obstacles, encouraging people to play again!

Great work!! :D

Detailed Review

[ + + + + + ] :: ENJOYMENT

As a game developer I love it so much I want to cry.. I think I want to cry because of how simple it is in practice, yet entirely empowering as a gamer! You have created a masterful experience that was targeted directly at me, and I love it. I love it so much that I hate it T_T

When I added a horror element the ghost said "Boo" and I shat myself.. That's how much I enjoyed it.

[ + + + + +] :: CREATIVITY

I hate you... Not only did you have the perfect idea, but you implemented it perfectly. There's nothing that frustrates me more than when I fall so madly in love with a game as to not be able to take off my rose-colored glasses, and say... so you made a game with a single level? *pshaw* what a cheap experience.

[ + + + + + ]  ::  PRESENTATION

Goddamn it, you had literally two contexts outside of the end-game screen, and you did them perfectly! I felt like I was watching a modernized old-school homestar runner video, except that it was actually polished and professional!

Hey you really are good at giving feedback.

Thanks. Also, I meant to give presentation 5 stars as well. You're one of 5 games that I've given 15 stars.

Hey. I'm not the creator of this game. I was commenting that you are good at giving feedback. XD

Would you like to give me your opinion/feedback in a game?

Submitted(+1)

Sure! I didn't see yours linked. What game?

(1 edit)

Thanks. It's a game that's not finished yet. It's a sports game (you have to throw the javelin, run 100m cycling,etc) The problem is that the story and instructions are in Spanish (I'll upload an english version in the near future). So I'll tell you here how to play:

Javelin:    (right arrow key to start running, then down arrow to pick power ups only once in eac one, finally space bar to throw the javelin)

100m: press "M" and "N"  as fast as you can. If you control player 2, use "2" and "3"

Cycling: you control it with the arrow keys (up is for pedaling, but then you can sprint faster using M or 1, but this tires you)

if you want to play using player 2, then you use wasd and you sprint using "R".
