How does your game fit the theme?
It's like a fishing mini game, like in Stardew Valley, but instead of the fisher, you play as the fish trying to escape from the hook.

imagine being such a big fish that u drag the fisher down the water, still glad to play as the one being fished in stardew valley

Ha! I had this same idea during development. The fish would get bigger the more it ate and then it could jump out of the water and eat the fishers above. But knew there would be no time to implement it.

I also had a joke idea for a mini game where you could find a secret room somehow wherein the fish would miraculously pull out a fishing rod and start fishing its own kind, (creating a fishing mini-game inside of a fishing mini-game inspired game). This would have also fit the roles reversed theme lmao.

I can see the inspiration from the fishing game from standew valley. Pretty hard so I gave up after few tries. But the art is cool.

This was fun (after struggling a bit)... I really like the surreal atmosphere! The meta ending is also cool :-D

The objective was not clear at first but after understanding the game it was fun to play.

nice game but kinda dissapointed by the end

Yeah, I get that.  You went all that way just to get to... pretty much nothing lol. I had planned a narrative where you were trying to swim towards your fish family and at the end you would finally meet up with them, but didn't have enough time to add that for the jam.

This is such a funny game to me because I have always thought the fish in these minigames should try harder to avoid me. Now I get to do it myself lol. Great submission!

The game was very relaxing and it was a good choice of music. Although the art was very simple, I still liked it. Also the camera zooming out during the credits to show "behind the scenes" is something that i've never seen a game do before, and it was a nice touch :)

If you get the time, please check out my  game too!
